I seem to remember being here and working, cooking and cleaning for this event. Not to mention making costumes. I know people couldn't come but I don't think that this is a very appropriate response considering the hard work many put in, especially SubSweetSarah and PleazMe.
Not to mention the very generous gift of the bookmarks from Glynndah. Thanks very much to the good witch!

I got there to chauffeur a couple of Lit-izens around 12:30, so I only saw a couple of people before we left. Had a nice trip downtown and did my tour guide thing. Then I got them to the airport and homeward bound for Texas. We really should do the tour thing one day next year. I've got a mini-van and can carry 6 or 7 people. Forget the expensive stops, we could just do it at dusk and check out the beautiful skyline and some of the city's cooler sights.
Nice to hear you got home safely, but sorry not to have gotten to say goodbye before left. (I was away from the hotel all morning and half the afternoon, so I didn't see anyone for most of the day.)
Anyway, it was great to see you again, Remec. I really enjoyed the talks.

Wenchie...I don't think she was being mean. We're just being a little sulky still today. We so wish we could have been there, but we're all glad you all got to be there. We're glad you had fun. We just wish we could have been there too. Please, don't take it as a slight. I am so sure she didn't mean it that way.

Haha. All of the above, with a side of being a single mom of three and having no one to talk to about my weekend, and a big helping of being overwhelmed with emotions. So physical and mental care needed, I think.

It was a distinct pleasure meeting old friends and making a bunch of new ones that I knew only from posts on the AH. Egads, there are a bunch of beautiful women here.
