Good News: AG Holder Says Gitmo Detainees Could be Released Into America....

Meet your new neighbors, the Allah Akbar's......

Some of the Guantanamo Bay prisoners could be released into the United States while others could be put on trial in the American court system, Attorney General Eric Holder said on Wednesday.

Holder, who was chosen by President Barack Obama to lead the administration's efforts to close the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba within a year, said the review of what to do with each of the prisoners had begun.

The administration faces intense political resistance to the idea of bringing the prisoners to the United States as part of closing the detention camp. The administration seeks to transfer some detainees to Europe or other countries while freeing others.

Holder told reporters at the Justice Department that the administration's review, made on a case-by-case basis, would determine whether the prisoners need to be put on trial or whether they can be released.

"For those who are in that second category, who can be released, there are a variety of options that we have. Among them is the possibility that we could release them into this country," he said.

They are Uighurs from the far western provinces of China. According to "human rights" experts, they will be persecuted if they are sent back to China.

So yeah, let them loose in the U.S. where they can work as enforcers for Chinese gangsters and Tong lords. Jobs that Americans won't do.

And of course, if these Jolly Jihadi Boys decide to get up to the business of hijacking infidel airplanes to ram into infidel buildings full of infidels, they can rest assured that Obama has made certain there will be no armed pilots to stop them.

If your family is like my family, they'll welcome the arrival of the poor mistreated Gitmo detainees into America's communities, purchase their bestselling books about their horrible Gitmo experiences, and write to their alma maters suggesting that the detainees be brought on as faculty members. They'll hold bake sales to raise money for the poor detainees' relocation fees, the lawyers among them will volunteer to sue the U.S. government for tens of millions of dollars on their behalf, on a purely pro bono basis.

However, if a former detainee buys a house in their neighborhood, they'll move away immediately.

the policies of this administration are unbelieveable

its worse then even I imagined before the election

many of the things I said he would do, was meant as a joke, only now,

HE IS ACTUALLY DOING EM:mad:

The funniest one is his plan to send civilian advisors to Afghaninam in the hundreds...

(... while bombing and raiding Pakibodia! The Whiz Kids are back in charge...)

I don't think he has a clue as to the nature of the terrain and what can be loosely termed as "infrastructure..."

It ain't KANSAS Toto!

As long as they release them from 10,000 feet up.

Not a bad idea. Drop them from 30,000 feet over the Gulf from the back of a C-5 Galaxy. Feed the sharks. Otherwise they'll just become registered democrats.

Who says ACORN hasn't already registered them and is planning to add them to the census?

That man could easily be a liar!

Prelude to war: Iran smells blood in the water...

Early overtures by the Obama administration to reach out to the Iranian mullahs via President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are likely to have met their end Monday when it became public that the U.S. shot down an Iranian drone hovering over Iraq — 60 miles north of Baghdad. The shoot-down occurred last month and was first reported by Wired’s Danger Room blog last week, but wasn’t confirmed by a spokesman for the multinational forces in Iraq until Monday.

The suggestion from Iran that the event was “an accident” was immediately put to rest. “This was not an accident on the part of the Iranians,” the military spokesman said, adding, “The [Iranians'] unmanned aerial vehicle was in Iraqi airspace for nearly one hour and 10 minutes and well inside Iraqi territory before” an American fighter jet shot it down.

Prelude to war: Iran builds alliances...

I am pretty sure that I remain the only American reporter to have traveled to leftist President Daniel Ortega’s Nicaragua to find out what the Iranian government is doing there. I apologize if I missed something out there. While I appreciated having the exclusive at the time, more than a year after my travels I continue to wonder why there there is such a persistent lack of curiosity from my mainstream press corps colleagues.

The press, quite rightly, has swarmed like migrating wildebeest all over the the Islamic Republic of Iran’s burgeoning economic and diplomatic ties to Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela and, to a certain degree, Iran’s spread to other anti-U.S. countries in South America, such as Bolivia. But with the exception of my own coverage, there’s been hardly a peep about the fact that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad planted the Iranian flag so far north in Nicaragua as soon as the time-tested American nemesis Daniel Ortega took office in January 2007. In fact, Ahmadinejad considered Ortega’s ascension so important that he was in Nicaragua to attend the inauguration. Within months, Iran was promising hundreds of millions in economic projects — and quickly set up a diplomatic mission in a tony Managua neighborhood where it could all supposedly be coordinated. Now Iran is extending its reach even further north, right into Mexico City with equally under-covered proposals to vastly expand tenuous ties to America’s immediate southern neighbor.

The national security implications of Iran forging paths throughout America’s southern sphere of influence are striking. Iran has long been known for using Hezbollah — the U.S.-designated terror organization it sired — to sow mayhem against its perceived enemies from the diplomatic cover provided by Iranian embassies. When considering Iran’s move to Nicaragua, it is important to remember that Iran had Hezbollah blow up the Israeli embassy and a Jewish center in Argentina not so long ago, killing and wounding hundreds. This is according to a recent 800-page Argentine indictment and still outstanding arrest warrants for top Iranian officials and Revolutionary Guards who carried out the bombings under diplomatic cover provided by Iran’s Buenos Aires embassy.
