Beannachtam na feile Padraig!

hey, Ren... Happy St Patrick's Day! Bring on the green beer! :D

(I think I'm gonna stick with a shamrock shake though. lol)

"Beannachtam na feile Padraig!" Hey man, you talkin' hip or dirty here?

well i am in baltimore, but i imagine it probably is.

Bawlmer, eh? Love Bawlmer.

But my small mind just finds that whole green river thing fascinating. I'm thinking the Irish in Ireland would be just a tad freaked out by all this focus on the color green. I mean, is it possible to turn a Guinness green?

yes it is, but i don't, and it may freak them out, or they may just not care.

There is a village near me that has more flagpoles than are usual in England (we're too shy to fly our flag at home).

I drove through it this afternoon.

Three flagpoles are displaying the Irish Tricolour; two the Union Jack (which of course includes the Cross of St Patrick); and one the New Zealand flag. Why New Zealand? I have heard it said that New Zealanders sometimes consider themselves the Irish of the Southern Hemisphere but a New Zealand flag does seem an odd way to celebrate St Patrick...

it does, but to each their own

The cooks dyed the fruit cocktail green at lunch today. Does this count? By the way, guava does not take to green food coloring particularly well.

Two Smithwick's down and four to go.

A little drunk out there isn't it?:D

A lot in my neck of the woods. But San Antonio doesn't need an excuse to get drunk. :p Hell, they even dye the river green.

As for me, I'm Dutch and proud of it. But I'll have a couple anyway.
