I have now been browsing Literotica for over a year. There are some fine stories, however many of them would benefit greatly from a good edit and corrections to the writers on word usage.

My first submission of 'Sensuality' was rejected (I think) because I had not used a volunteer editor - I did disover on re-reading it one spelling mistake!

However, many story submissions need a great deal of touching up:

these are just a few errors which spring to mind.

How is it that these stories get through the 'net' ???

Not using an editor isn't grounds for rejection. If you click on the blue "Rejected" in your Author's Control Panel across from your story you should discover the reason for the rejection.

As for the other stories that slip through, who knows? This is an amateur site, after all, and professional standards aren't applied.

Funny, I actually signed up as a volunteer editor after reading far too many stories with exactly what you're describing. I figure smut is much better to read if you're not distracted by by thinking of a bear butt instead of a bare butt.

That depends on your personal proclivities, but a bear butt ought to be rejected on here because there is a "no bestiality" rule.
