I'm Back Baby! Who wants to do a thread trade-off??

Hey Guys,

After a long (and painful) absence I'm back writing and on Chyoo. For those few who are curious, my absence has been an anforced one... my girlfriend was been unemployed for over a year - and thus, at home ALL THE TIME. This didn't leave me any personal space or time in which to write. She knows I write erotica but doesn't like me doing it when she's about... which was ALL THE TIME (as previously mentioned).

So if anyone had been wondering what was happening with 'A Dramtic Change' or 'An Open Mind', that's what's been happening - nothing.

Now she's got a day job, and I work nights - I have a lot of free time during the day to release some creative tension and get these stories back in the monthly top 20... which leads me to my next point....

I remember Torg used to offer thread trade-offs; in that if you wrote a thread on his story he would do the same for you.

In the hope of kick-starting my chyoo recovery, I would like to make the same offer. Anyone who would like to make a contribution to either of my stories:

If I think of anything that fits your story, I'll take you up on your offer. It's a bit tricky for me, though; 'An Open Mind' inspired one of the branches of 'John Almighty', so I need to think up something that doesn't fit my story too.

and Murakami I'm glad that something I wrote inspired you to write, I'll have to check 'John Almighty' out for sure - and see if I can pick it...

I hope to be adding to 'An Open Mind' again as there are several of the threads I started that I want to continue but just seem to be adding to 'A Dramatic Change' a lot lately, I've added four threads in in two days - which is a lot for me, and not a pace I can likely keep up.

Like I said before - thanks for the support and keep an eye on the stories if they interest you, as there should be more additions coming soon.

The author John Varley invented another sexy centaur variant called the Titanides, for his science fiction trilogy Titan/Wizard/Demon.

Very interesting. I'm intrigued by the fact that the frontal intercourse, only for intimate relationships, doesn't produce offspring.

In my hippanthropes, males and females have both front and rear sex organs of the appropriate type for their gender. They make great sex partners for threesomes with humanoids. I suppose given how inter-sexed humans sometimes have strange combinations of organs, that hippanthrope hermaphrodites, with different sex organs front and back, might be possible.

I've seen that pic before actually and even then it caught my attention, my god... the matters we devote proper thinking time to, just for the sake of a good clear paragraph or description...

I'll be interested to see how you manage to convey that form to the reader, though I don't imagine it'll be too hard as long as you don't fall into the classic traps of getting too technical or having the newly arrived hippanthrope characters present a synposiam on their physiology as some writers might have them do.

Personally I've always had trouble describing the more obscure sexual positions my characters can get into without ruining the whole mood of the chapter with long winded and technical descriptions.

While trying to describe the positions and actions of each character in the setting - I can't help but to think that it reads 'clumsily' and breaks the flow of the scene (for lack of a better word) but for the life of me haven't been able to rewrite it in a smoother fashion.

Hi, everyone. After a considerable absence I've eventually returned to Chyoo. I've even put up a new story although it is still pending approval. I've also got one other new story I'm going to write and put up as well.


My previous stories are well and truly dead. The Dissonance was a bad idea for a Chyoo story and will at some stage be reborn in a different form and probably on my own site eventually. The Diner I have zero plans to continue ever and A Rock Festival can stay with whoever has laid claim to it.

I am very willing to do a thread trade as I'd certainly like to spark some interest in my new stories assuming they get approved.

Thanks Murakami! I like the way you define the properties of the strange powers the protagonist has found themself with, you can expect a thread up on John almighty in the next 24 - 48 hours.

I've also promoted you to trusted status on the story so - should you feel inclined to continue that thread - you won't have to wait for approval again. I know your quality of writing and its great to have some on one of my stories

I've just submitted the second of my two new stories.

The first is Changing the grade.

A fairly cliched story idea. A teacher offering students better grades in exchange for sex. So far I've included three opening threads off the introduction, which then give plenty of possibilities for further options.

The second is a A new year. Wherein the protoganist finds himself mysteriously enrolled at a very interesting university. Essentially it's my thread contribution to XXX University made into an actual story. I liked what I had written but felt constrained by the perspective and the protoganist being a teacher.

I wasn't originally going to do it straight away but got 'inspired' I hope you like it. I might look at continuing this thread when I get the time, I like its future potential. Out of curiousity; would this be the branch of your story inspired by 'an Open Mind?'

Thanks for the trade. I look forward to seeing more stuff from you, both in my story (since I have a few more ideas for An Open Mind) and anything else you do now that you are back.

As to the inspiration, it isn't that focused. I am going to say that bits of all three of the major lines come from An Open Mind: the hospital setting + confusion in the hospital branch, the familial stuff in the past branch, the friends in the polite sex branch (I'm actually getting a bit WBlocked on that one, I can't get a good thread that continues the story well right now). So I guess that would mean the largest inspiration is affecting the Hospital branch.

DeathOfCards, I have posted the new thread on your story, it is only a setup thread, so to be fair I'll add to that on wednesday as well as I don't feel it's exactly a fair trade-off on the work you put ionto your addition to my story. I'm just quite short on time atm.

One new thread into An Open Mind, and probably another couple to come in the next couple days. I'm a bit inspired by the scenario I have going right now, let's see how long it lasts. I need to get the juices going; I'm a bit Writer's blocked on John Almighty right now, so more varied contributions are important to get my inspiration going again.

I do have to say that I find second person awkward.

Thanks for the thread Murakami, I'll hit up John almighty with the next installment tomorrow or wednesday at the latest, I can't write today as I have the Girlfriend at home sick. As I have previously mentioned she's not to keen on me writing my erotica with her in the house.

I'm really getting into the thread I'm writing on john almight, I will need to go over the stuff i wrote though so you'll need to approve changes to the exsisting threads I have up there. That's just how I work it.

I write the thread, spell check and reread for errors before posting it. then a few days later I go back over it again, correct any mistakes or errors I might have missed on the first check and generally rewrite some phrases and sentences to make it flow better. Then I repeat it again later. so you might end up having to reapprove some of my writting a few times - sorry.

but anyway - I will get that thread up soon and thanks again for contribution - I look forward to more.

Just please be careful and don't break anybody's threads that follow/forward link yours if at all possible (I know I have one right now, others may appear). If you absolutely have to do something that causes linking errors, let the other person know so they can fix it.
