The 45 million uninsured is a bogus statistic. It's all smoke and mirrors.

...14 million people without health insurance are eligible for government health care programs like Medicaid and S-CHIP but choose not to enroll. (7) They represent %31 - nearly one third - of the uninsured in America.

...The U.S. has 12 million illegal immigrants who don't buy health insurance but still get health care.

...So, how many are truly uninsured? Around eight million. Just 18% of the 45 million that we hear about so often."

The Kaiser Family Foundation, a liberal non-profit frequently quoted by the media, puts the number of uninsured Americans who do not qualify for current government programs and make less than $50,000 a year between 13.9 million and 8.2 million.

The real problem is ignorant citizens who blindly believe what the government tells them.

Miles not all of them choose not to get insurance, for many it's to expensive to get insurance and have a place to live not to mention food. I betcha alot of them are not illegal immigrants either, well many probably started out that way. :eek:
