I'm older than you, and mine is short like that, a similar style. Only it's 'Midnight Ruby' in color. ;)

I'm a firm believer in trying it, if you don't like it, then let it grow out and try something else.

I will be coloring it as well...probably a dark brown or auburn.

I tried a bunch of colors until I found one I liked best.
The good thing about short hair is that anything that might get damaged from the dye is trimmed since cuts are needed so often to maintain the look.
 
Looks fine to me. Very stylish. What difference does age make regarding a hairstyle? Get it, enjoy it, if people don't like it, tough. ;)

I love the "I just woke up" look. With no clothes, it's even better.
 
I think it's gorgeous! Go for it. I'd love to wear that style -- but my hair curls if it's longer than an inch.

I'm kind of a fan of short hair on women - my first girlfriends, for whatever reason, had short hair, so I have a lot of fond memories associated with that. ;)

In a purely selfish vein, I like cowgirl, and long hair kinda gets in the way... :devil:
 
I have not had short hair in about 10 years...so I am nervous about it...but change is always good, right?

Go for it!

A few weeks ago I went from hair to below my waist to just at my shoulders. It's SO much easier now. :)
 
I personally like women with longer hair, but have been seeing more women with hair like that and it really looks good on women with strong eyes.

Have you tried using a flat iron? Best invention ever, IMO.

Good for you!

You might need a flat iron to achieve that look. A curling iron will flip it a little too much. Ask the stylist to show you how to do it.
 
I adore it! I would love to have my hair like that, but, like Imp was saying, my hair is way too curly for razor cut styles. *pout* I've even tried to flat-iron it, but it has a mind of its own. :rolleyes:
