An Ohio teacher has been arrested and accused of having sex with students. Rittman High School teacher, Erin Speicher, 34, was arrested on Sunday for allegedly having sex with several students. According to officials with the Orrville Police Department, Speicher, of South Vine Street, in Orrville, was taken into custody on Sunday and charged with sexual battery.

OK, it's a Wednesday, I'm feeling generous, and to tell you the truth, I'm actually starting to feel a little sorry for him.

So: Psst, Chance. Simon and Garfunkel, not the Beatles. Pink Floyd, fine, you got the lyrics a little wrong, but OK, close enough.

But Mrs. Robinson? Hey hey hey?

Not the Beatles.

Not even close, really, although there is an interesting story about Bridge Over Troubled Water and Let It Be, which, if anyone cares to know it, I'll gladly tell you about in PM.

By they way, should you decide to now go the "Hot for Teacher" route, that's Halen, not Morrison.

Funny, he tried to bag on me for a simple typo and he managed to fuck up his own thread.

Can't wait for the, "I knew that! I was just testing my trolls" post.

I really am starting to feel sorry for him. And here's what made me say that just now: how entirely plausible the "I was just testing my trolls" idea seemed.

Good thing we're all on ignore.

I think that the biggest oversight is leaving out Van Halen's Hot For Teacher.

But yeah, I mean, the Beatles take it. Even if they weren't technically in the running.

Well then I guess these guys are in for a lawsuit.

Haha, I think they have the financial cushion to handle it, but I'll put some of my own financial cushion on the fact that it was the incomparable Paul S. and Art G. who penned and vocalized it. :)

The word "verified" in the URL doesn't count as actual proof. Have an album?

Nope, I don't collect music that far back. I just looked up the source of those lyrics quickly. I doubt those guys have the cushion to take a legal hit from the Beatles, but they must have had that site up a while so who knows. Maybe nobody cares enough to sue.

Ah, I misunderstood. Thought you were trying to assert that it was a McCartney-Starr-Harrison-Lennon original. Je m'excuse!

I don't think that anyone will have their knickers particularly in a twist over it. Mistakes are mistakes. I legitimately thought that Elton John song was saying, "hold me closer, Tony Danza" for years.

You mean "Tiny Dancer" really wasn't code speak for "Tony Danza"?  :D

I thought The Beatles did that song, but I wasn't sure. Too lazy to research myself.

The Beatles did the one with "yeah, yeah, yeah".

Simon and Garfunkel did the one with "hey, hey, hey".

Simon and Garfunkel also did the one with "lie lie lie, lie lie lie lie lie lie lie, lie lie lie, lie lie lie lie lie lie lie, lie lie lie lie lie".

Technically OP is correct? Yeah?
