I can always count on you when I need someones ass kicked. :D

Life is fair to midlan of late. Home life and all that is good. Work life is a bit shaky. The construction industy around here (everywhere?) is currently about as brisk as the tomb. So my career is currently circling the toilet and the fickle finger of fate is resting on the flush lever. Kind of nerve racking.

But I'm still kickin for now.

Have I missed anyhting exciting around here?

Nah, its pretty much the same ol', same ol', except for close to the election. :D

I understand about the career thing. My husband's work is tied sort of tangentially to construction, and while he's not in any danger of losing his job, he's certainly not getting the kind of overtime we've become used to.

I'm sorry you're having to go through that. :rose:

To be honest, the election battles were why I originally started my, um... vacation from Lit. I couldn't take the nonscence. ;)

Thanks. But I'm still holding on so far. That's alot better than alot of guys are doing right now.

Been good.

Sold a book recently. First of a trilogy actually. I'm co-writing it with another author. She's doing the heroine's parts and I doing the hero. It's fun.

Other than that, same old same old.

So i'm writting my personal statement, i thought i'd try a different tactic and open with a personal experience that illustrates my desire to go into counselling psychology.

I feel like a cheat, i'm writting about my grandfather passing away and willing myself not to feel it all again...
