We woke up to snow, which is going to make our trip to the dentist this morning, interesting.

No buses at all running in London, the capital has been hit worse than anywhere.

Heathrow has no planes coming in and out, Stanstead has a runway closed, Gatwick has reduced service. London underground will be affected in those areas where the trains actually run 'overground'.

M25 and M1 are completely at a standstill.

More, heavier snow is expected during the day, worst affected areas, south and south east (which is what's unusual, it's usually in the north and Scotland).

All in all, it's going to be interesting for everyone, just getting to school or work.

I can hardly wait to get in the car...........:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

And I was supposed to be driving to my parents' house today (London). I'm gonna get it in the ear later for not listening to them and going yesterday  Wish hubby hadn't gone to work :-(

Just taken 40 minutes to get to work which is 4 miles away to be told that there wouldn't be any service today.

Just an inch or so up here, though more is expected.
Everything running, and the schools are open.:)

It's a feckin winter wonderland here. Just had a slippery walk to work through the woods.

Bloody weather's closed my sister's school and my mum and dad can't get to work, so they're here at home with me, and I have to be really careful on Literotica now - damn!

Does look nice, though

Local roads are passable but it is difficult to get closer to London.

I'm staying in.

Global warming? The real possibility is climate change as a result of global warming. If the Gulf Stream diverts or stops flowing, the UK and much of the coast of Western Europe will have winter weather more like Nova Scotia than the mild wet winters we are used to.

As long as it doesn't get as cold as the winters of 1947 or 1963 I'll be content with the normal variation of a slightly colder winter this year.

It doesn't feel that cold to me. Mind you I don't feel the cold after a couple of shots of grappa

Me outside Kenwood house this morning

Its not bad in here - South Oxon. Maybe 5 mm if you really try to measure.

If this weather fucks up our plans for Friday, I'm going to be one unhappy woman.

Most of the airports are closed here right now.

I'm not worried, Love. I'll get there come Hell or snowfall...I'll kayak....or sled if I have to.

A tip: Put a husky bitch in heat at the front of the pack, you'll go quicker
