Male Ire

I seem to have stirred up a good bit of male ire with my story, "Visitors." Some seem to have taken it quite seriously, perhaps personally, and missed the point that it was fiction (and, as I thought, a bit comedic). I'd be interested in hearing some author's views, and particularly some from the women here. (I only heard directly from one woman, and she seemed to have loved it. Hmmmm).

It's a lazy bunch around here so it would be best if you provided a link.

...and a concise synopsis. :D
OK, Hooper X...

5 years no sex but herself; two tall, well-endowed strangers invade. Doesn't take much to get her cooperation while hubby watches and gets hard. Cooperate? She takes the lead and claims her hubby's wang as prize.

Makes you wonder if she hired 'em?

I just wonder if a woman would like being choaked by cocks?

Grand Stroker! :rose::rose::rose::rose: Four Roses

Loving Wives category? :)
She got him off, didn't she? Enjoy the satire.
The reason I asked is because pretty much everything posted in "loving wives" cat gets hateful responses from the men that read there.

It has nothing to do, unfortunately, with the quality of writing. It's just some bizarre reflex.

If I were to post a story like yours, I'd put it in "group sex" where it would be more likely to be appreciated on it's own merits.

Thanks for the advice, Last Star. I'm finding the feedback is starting to get quite violent. Why do they read there anyway (and why do they find it so difficult to write coherently?).

Questions for the ages, I'm afraid *laugh*

There should be a warning on the submission page that pops up as soon as you select Loving Wives as a category.

So what, exactly, would the formula be to piss off the most people in the LW category? I'm feeling like writing something offensive specifically for that audience.

Uncle Storyteller nailed it, I think-- The wife's cuckolding her impotent husband him right in front of him, and the semi-rape of the woman-- those are popular motifs-- but the happy ending? So not.

Most LW readers loath women, loath men, loath themselves-- at least judging by the feedback. So you make your characters happy and well-balanced and polyamorous as opposed to adulturous, you'l collect all the hate mail your little heart ever wanted....

Thanks, Stella; I think you've figured them out - it's consistent with the content of their comments and 'feedback' once you've deciphered their syntax and spelling.

Keep up the good work, and, if you wish to post again, I'll defer the last word to the astral omega...

Ahh, Uncle Storyteller =Tio Narratore, I had to think about that one. (Surprising how much Spanish I am picking up.) So does this mean polyamory bashing is the new gay-bashing, or is it cuckold-bashing? What happens if, in the next chapter, the husband admits that this was his doing?

I am with DeeZire, sitting here trying to think up a story that will make the trolls scream their indignation.

Beautiful thoughts, lisa,
We write for fun and pleasure - what's wrong with seeing the ladies have theirs?
But don't go around troll-bashing; most trolls I know are quite egalitarian when it comes to things sexual or sensual. Perhaps we could call them 'lump's = loathsome uninteresting male people.?
I eagerly await yours and DeeZire's offerings to arouse even more ire (come to think of it, maybe that's the problem - ire is the only thing they have that can be aroused...)

buenos noces y bono sera

I thought it was pretty hot, but then I was identifying with the intruders, not the husband.

Glad you liked itl I expect it has something for everyone to identify with. And if you identified with the husband, you might have found it hot, too - he did get quite the orgasmic work-out.

I suspect the angry men identified with him, too, and cursed me for letting them find out who they really were in a story like that.
