courtesy of a friend...

a DC-area beauty salon has a promotion in honor of tomorrow's inauguration. they're giving away free bikini waxes all day. they've dubbed this promotion "lose the bush".

this of course sparked a poll--and DGO, you'll be happy to see actual poll options. :>

I heard Krispy Kreme is giving away doughnuts tomorrow, too.

I like a trim & shave combo on my partner.

Oooh...free inauguration Krispy Kreme's sound good...

My husband is a rather hairy man and I've always liked it. I am curious as to how he would look trimmed. And, while I'd never ask him to shave, a close friend of mine (proud gay man) is adamant that I ask my husband to do just that. He wouldn't though, I'm sure he'd consider it "metro-sexual" or something along those lines.

I'm voting for hairy.

Hairless balls have some major advantages, like being more sensitive and fun to lavish oral attention on!

There seems to be a bit of controversy (for lack of a better word) about this. Some people. . .

ETA: I responded to the poll, but felt that I needed to clarify that my husband's a hairy guy and I don't have any issue with that, but I do appreciate that he trims his pubes. His chest and belly are so hairy that he'd look really odd without pubic hair.

I know, right?

The funny thing is the promotion probably wouldn't have gotten so much attention if the idiot contingent didn't try to make that particular connection.

I voted for trimmed. I do like a bit of grooming and I think trimming pubic hair is more hygienic than letting it grow. Bald genitals look a bit alien and weird though and the resulting stubble is just not fun for either party.

Back when Sydney first began hosting the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras the salons started running festival specials, these became known as the Back Crack and Sack Wax.:D
