I have prophetic dreams, apparently. I'm perfectly serious about this. Why is it that I dream of things and then I find out they're true later on? Any logical explanations? Cause it keeps happening periodically. And they're usually things I had no way of knowing beforehand.

But I guess this way at least I had some warning beforehand about something that I knew would just break my heart. I guess in that regard its kinda useful.

I have had them too,but never anything useful. Just a preview of a conversation here or there about nothing in particular.

Mine aren't useful per se either, but they are about stuff that's important to me.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who's doing that.
 
Ok, my kid is in the living room throwing a fit because there's no school tomorrow due to the cold weather. :rolleyes: It was supposed to be pajama day. WTF?

Gizz has prophetic dreams too. I can always tell when something happens that he dreamed about...whenever, because he reacts like he's suddenly very dizzy and always says something about deja vu. He'll tell me what he dreamed with that look of incredulity on his face because they're things he had no way of knowing about beforehand either.

As to why...I don't think anybody knows. I sometimes wonder if it's a harbinger of the next stage of evolution for the human brain, but that's just me.

I usually dream things about people.... like I dream up what their middle names are before I'm ever told, or I know what will happen next in their life before they tell me... not really like foretelling future events because they tend to be things that have already happened or are happening, but that I really have no way of knowing.

Yeah...it's things like that that Gizz dreams too. He doesn't dream anything especially profound, like he doesn't dream that a natural disaster is going to occur before it actually does or anything like that. But, prophetic they are anyway. ;)



Blurt: How do you tell someone that a video they emailed you, that they thought was absolutely incredibly amazing, that you were less than impressed? Or do you just hold your tongue?
 
God damn that was a hard song. Just played the bass line for "Sweet Home Alabama" on GH: World Tour and wore my arms out and that's the only song I've played today and it was on easy...
 
I think a friend of mine has a basal cell carcinoma on his nose. He thinks so too; the right side of his nose, according to him, looks exactly the way the left side of his nose looked when he last had a skin cancer removed. :(
 
I don't want the stigma attached to my disease anymore. I'm tired of people running away, making jokes, etc.
 
Was going to spend the day doing fun things that I like (museum, lunch, shopping) but instead I will be home taking care of my sick little girl.

My feet are freezing!!! I'm not used to this kind of cold weather. I have on two pairs of socks, one of them wool, and they are still cold!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH......
 
I just walked five miles in the bitter 9F degree cold trying to define in my flippin' mind what 'IT" is for me.

As in:
'Just Do IT'
and the time honored:
'Go For IT'

I have come to the conclusion I have many 'ITs' and have to whittle and hone IT for clarity and definition.

Same here. Socks AND slippers, and my feet are still cold. It was -12 here this morning.
