I'd been putting off taking my pregnancy tests (I've been suspecting for weeks that I was pregnant) for the last few days because of the stress of dealing with my cousin in the hospital, but just a few hours ago I decided to take the plunge.

I'm having a baby! I'm pregnant! I'm going to be a MOMMY!

AHHHH!!! *jumps up and down laughing and screaming!!!*

I don't really post here anymore, but I thought this would be way more efficient than having to mass PM everyone...again...(pain in the butt, lemme tell ya) and I just HAD to share. I can't sleep I'm so flipping excited!

Names already picked out, family's been told. Mister is so excited and happy!

I cannot wait to be a mom. I think Mister is going to be the best daddy ever.

So who wants to buy me a hot cocoa in celebration!?

My children have given me the most treasured memories of my life...and continue as young teens to still make me smile as I am practically pulling my hair out sometimes.

I can't even begin to describe to you the intense relief I feel. I never thought I'd be able to have a baby of my own. Mister and I thought we'd probably have to adopt.

We planned on adoption if I hadn't gotten pregnant by the time I was about 27-28.

I think I'm at a good place in my life to have a baby. I'm young, relatively healthy...although I will say that being pregnant so far is exausting. I have no energy! ^_^

My family is notorious for difficult pregnancies, my mom actually was almost forced to abort me because she was sooo sick when she was carrying me. I'm scared, lemme tell ya. But I think God really wants this for me!

I'm sooo excited!

Weird food cravings already...last night I wanted chicken fried steak and fruit. *shakes head* So weird.

Yes! Click me. Also, try sucking on a lemon, eating small meals, saltines, and lemon and/or ginger tea.

Are you taking a prenatal vitamin with folic acid?

I also have a really good vanilla forum to direct you to, if you're interested in an online forum where lots of women, including mommy types, hang out. But you'll need to PM me for the link. Also, remember that there is a lot of information out there for parents these days. On the one hand, it's very comforting. Everything I could want at my finger tips! On the other hand, it could very well drive you insane. Everyone has an opinion and all that.

Sometimes I discretely whisper to pregnant women about their nipples and breastfeeding. I've already seen your nipples though, so in this case, I'm good.

Yes, morning sickness for some of us is ALL the damn time sickness.



Saltines and fizzy drinks helped me.

Also I ate what I was craving, whatever it was.

I swear to God I could eat six chicken sandwiches a day and not get tired of them.

But they HAVE to have lettuce, tomato and onions on them. *facepalm*

I went to Wal Mart and got some Sprite and that REALLY helped my stomach feel better, so thanks ya'll!

Oh, I forgot. Yes, I am taking prenatal vitamins. I've taken them every day for about 4 years now. I was taking them previously because they make my hair so damn shiny and I can grow it out long in very short periods of time, but it's been a habit of mine for a long time. I've kept my hair waist-length for a while now...I don't color treat it or anything, it's completely virgin hair. I get a lot of 'are you growing it out for locks of love?" questions but I don't mind...having really long hair these days is kind of unusual.

I buy them (my vitamins) at Wal Mart ^_^

I did, however, buy a new bottle of the non-iron kind because the ones with iron seem to upset my morning sickness more.

I was thinking about getting a B6 suppliment, that's supposed to help too.

I'm also drinking more orange juice and eating a lot more fruit.
