Has anyone visited Paddles in NYC?
We are hoping to check out the Crime & Punishment Event. I am looking for any imput about the club from someone that has visited there. Thanks in advance.

How to play

# Register at the bar by stating your crime (bad boy, bad girl, disobedient slave etc.)
# You will be called before a judge for a public hearing.
# A jury of your peers will hand down judgement
# If the verdict is guilty, the Mistress/Master Judge will pass the sentence

# Public Humiliation

The creepyness of the place and its patrons, is, I think a little overplayed but its true there are lots of people (men) who obviously come to just look because they haven't done anything themselves in years (or ever). And there are very few younger people who spend much time there. When I went, everyone was at least ten years older than me and the guy I went with.

That was very generous of you. I think the idea of public flogging and humiliation by strangers, with my master thereof course, would send me to a very heady endozone subspace long time.

Seeing I am in my 50's and my Master is a bit older we probably would not notice the age difference so much.

My husband and I have gone a few times, and I've consistently found it to be rather cold, both physically and sexually. There are a lot of hungry eyes there waiting for something to happen, and I am so shy about public play, I prefer when I can hide in a group.

I think it depends mightily on what you bring to it, though, because I have seen other people enjoying themselves in ways that capitalized on the sense of naked exposure. Lots of fetish wear. Lots of degradation and humiliation. Some good suspension work. Lots of parties serving "special interests."

There are also a number of social groups that use Paddles as the meeting spot. I can give you some information on how to find them if you're interested.

I'm afraid sometimes that I'm not being fair to Paddles. But I have such a soft spot for the first club I ever went to back in the early 90's, I think I bring a prejudiced eye. I'm not good at splitting my loyalties.
