Ok, so Mr West is going for his *whispers* operation ;) tomorrow morning.

Problem is, Misty hasn't had a male cat since she was little, and doesn't know whether he still has his little baby makers or not...

Let me remind everyone that he was an abandoned cat she took in, this is his first visit to a vet.

She had a dream last night that she took him to the humane society, and they went 'ma'am, he's already had this operation...'

Before the dream, she was pretty sure he was pre-op, nads n' all, but now, she's got doubts. He has his scrotum, but she refuses to feel him up to check

She said she was looking for before and after pictures of male cats *snerk*

I told her to hold his ass up to the camera for me to see, coz i had a male cat recently and i would know. She's trying to catch him so we can do that...we're thinking of taking pictures if we can get him still enough so you can all help out :D

She says she feels silly having had the dream, but feels even sillier wondering, and is just paranoid about the vet saying he's already been done :D

I thought it was hilarious, so i made a thread, and want people to help her choose what to do :D

feel him up
poke his scrotom with an object
leave him and see what happens tomorrow
stick his ass up to the camera so we can all help decide :D

Just so you know, I had to put a pillow over my lap just for extra protection. Respect the nads.

I have the vet clip my ferals' ears-- either snip off the tip, or take a little snip out of one side. It's a signal that they've been altered. It's not such a big deal for the boys since the vet can tell before they ever put them under, but for the girls-- the vet won't know until they've already committed invasive surgery.

Cop the feel!

For gawd sakes she's a freak'in lesbian. It's not like she's never felt up a pussy before!

*spew*

Damn I hope I can quit laughing in time for the kickoff :D

*snerk* :D

Thank you Stella, for such a serious response in such a funny situation :D

They often do... on human males, anyway. I gotta confess I don't have quite as much experience with male cats.

Just be grateful he doesn't have a thumb or you KNOW what he'd be doing then! :D

Well, don't feel bad. I have a stray dog and wasn't exactly sure what to look for and didn't want to get too personal with him at first(until we knew each other better). Guess I should've known when I realized that he's really lazy and never tries to hump my leg. Though, I know human males with all their junk who act the same, so who could be sure?

If he has large furry 'nads, grape or olive-sized, he probably hasn't been snipped.

Once neutered, they're much smaller, tighter and drawn in, and nearly invisible in some cats beneath the fur.

Does that help?

Post a picture of his backside. We'll make guesses.

:D

Omg. That was funny. Have you met my husband?

They don't just cut them off like they do cattle?

Sorry Misty, there goes that new Christmas Tree decoration you had your heart set on!

**Wonders if that type of ornament would help or hinder the attempt to keep your cats from playing with your ornaments**
