This incident isnt unusual.

When a cop has an excitiable imagination, people get arrested for silly reasons. A great many people are what I call 'functionally psychotic.' That is, a marijuana doobie gets inflated to major drug trafficing or a carton of expired milk becomes a reason for the health authorities to condemn the home. No one has any common sense.

I actually respect the police, but there are just too many instances of this kind of shit lately. It's not just that they raided and arrested somebody in error, it's that they start coming up with bullshit to cover their asses when they are proved incorrect. For fuck sake, I got shit in my kitchen that could be "bomb making materials." Sometimes the cops fuck up, but this incessant refusal to admit that they did, is wrong. All they are doing is creating more R. Richards and making themselves look like ignorant asshats.
