I've decided to lead an expedition an an errand of mercy, to rescue our snow-bound brothers and sisters and lesbians! I hope you'll join me in this dangerous but noble mission. Post a picture of anything you can bring to help us out, remember they'll need not only a way out of the snow and ice, but also basic necessities and something to warm them up....

....or, if you're one of those in need of rescuing, post a picture here detailing your dire situation.

Who's with me and Bruno?

Somebody has to drive the sled.

Well, we only have about an inch of snow and ice on the ground but I sure wouldn't mind being rescued.

Thanks for the concern but we only had a foot this weekend and the temperature has consistently been above 0, Fahrenheit.

So I'm good.

Very true! Thanks for volunteering. But who's--or what's going to pull it?

Hang on, Sarahh! We're coming! Don't go into the light!

So I'm good.
Which is why we're drafting you for the expedition. Get your winter gear on. We've frozen Aher's to save!

Vm...are you sure that's a big enough snow plow?

We had a blizzard yesterday. They pulled the plows in the morning already.
The wind died down during the night but it didn't stop snowing.
It continued all of today.
Another 6-10 inches is on the way tomorrow with 30mph winds expected.
This is how it looked yesterday afternoon in the yard here.

Isn't that the famous picture of a polar bear in a blizzard?

There's no snow here...but I'm willing to join a rescue expedition. :D

Wearing your Hawaiian shirt and Bermuda shorts, Floridian? :D

Only tourists wear that stuff. My usual garb is a muscle shirt and surf baggies...or swim trunks, deck shoes or huraches...occasionally a wide brimmed straw beach hat. ;)

All of which will really help you up here.
