Inevitably these rich and wealthy people physically have to live near the people they impoverish. This will leave them vulnerable to a major attitude adjustment - one that they can't escape by moving overseas, where they're far more likely to be hunted down, exploited, robbed (electronically, or by whimsical Government fiat), or flat out murdered by angry mobs.

The rich and powerful have spent too much time shitting where they eat and now the catbox is being overturned on their heads. I'm tempted to laugh at the way they got victimized by Madoff, even as the consequences of his schemery ensnares everyone else, too... gotta burn the village to save it, I suppose.
