Depends how you define weapon. I'm stronger than I look, I weigh more than you think, and I can delay a stress reaction by quite some time - depending on the situation. Broke my arm in three places and didn't really freak out until about 12 hours later. I felt the pain, I knew I'd really fucked it up so it wasn't a "shock" I went into.

Many keep their weapons in good working condition but that aside they tend to be very good compensators and understand the value of aiming at the right spots, like the brain. Say what you will, knowledge and experience are always assets. Yeah, that was a bad pun.
