So the wife and I went shoppin today. We had a few things like food to pick up. Thankfully nothing Christmas related. ( still have one last present to pick up, for my mother. Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea what to get her this year.)
Well we hit the grocery store and picked up what we needed then left. Because we didn't have anything frozen or even chilled among our purchases we decided to hit the bookstore. A quick stop there and off we went again.
AS we were heading home we were stopped at a stop light. Nothing new there. We were downtown after all. Sitting in the far right lane I had a clear view out the left window at the traffic coming up behind us. (Clean mirror.) Behind me I see a Mercedes coming up to the light smoking up a storm. If I had to guess I would say a cracked Head Gasket. As I watch this car jukes towards us then to the left. I'm wondering what's up then watch in shock as it blasts, or attempts to blast through between two cars. I hear a screeching sound as it pushes through into the intersection. It banks right with it's tires smoking and takes off closely followed by both cars it had scraped past. I reckon the holiday insanity has started.
