rearranging large heavy pieces of furniture is a pain in the arse. I'm getting ready to ditch that chair and get a smaller one to put in its place. ( I wont I love the damn thing which is why its trying to be squeezed into my bedroom and not being taken to the inlaws)

I swear there are too many reasons these days to dislike the Christmas season...

1) Traffic is very heavy due to too many people being out and about scouring the stores for "deals".

2) Bombarded with Christmas music from each store you go into from November 1st to December 26th.

3) Things that are normally readily available, are now out of stock due to people buying in bulk for "gifts".

4) Lines to check out are ridiculously long courtesy of all these shoppers.

5) People are more aggressive in their driving due to losing their patience due to the large amount of traffic thats due to....Christmas shopping.

6) Family pesters you for in excess of a month [mine for two] to figure out "Christmas plans" and what gifts to get.

Don't forget:

7) Said family members frustrate you for never telling you what they want for Christmas, then get disappointed when the thing you ended up getting them wasn't what they wanted.

8) Once you do tell your family what you want for Christmas, you are then prohibited from buying those things for yourself, meaning you have to wait until after Christmas to get it.

9) You have to coordinate your gift buying with other family members so as not to get the same thing they got, while at the same time being careful not to inadvertently tell them what you got for them.

I have found that there is no safe driving on ice without special tires.

I swear I have fallen in love with the most gorgeous puppy today and would have loved to have brought her home. She's an adorable border collie and sweet and funny and just lovely.
