A complication? More looking for opinions I guess...

Hey all. Don't post here too often...but recently my wifes health has taken a bad turn. I do everything I can to make her more comfortable (it's not a terminal thing...excrutating back pain). I do everything I can for her...shopping, clean house etc without complaint ( why would I complain..I live there too!!). The opinion or advice I am looking for is this...There is no sex....and won't be for the forseable future. Now, I'm not selfish...and I understand that causing her pain for my pleasure is the last thing she (or I) would want...but other than masturbating, my sex life has become less than satisfying. What would you do? Ladies or men are more than welcome to respond. I don't want to hear the old "get an escort" line of thinking however, as the last thing I need is to explain where the std came from when I haven't made love to my wife in 4 months...lol.

Well, for some men it is very important to have intercourse. But in a situation like yours, could you not ask your wife to show some skin and masturbate you in the more comfortable position for her ?
Or just show some skin and let you masturbate yourself in front of her ? There are so many ways to enjoy sex.
Just a thought.
