Phung Shuia, (Damn, where’s my Japanese dictionary when I need it.) is the polite way to tell someone that they have all their shit in the wrong bags and it’s stored in the wrong closet, on the wrong side of the room. Wouldn’t it be nice, if you could just turn the room around and leave your life alone?

I think it is Chinese but I know what you mean. I was in a Resturant for takeout and the guy told me that he had just taken over form the old owners and he was changing the entrance door so that his storefront would help blaance the building he was in.

I hope it works for him as there is a dearth of decent resturants in the area.

There's also squid, octopus, ray, skate and (in Japan) whale to nosh on.

Actually crab and shrimp are superior baits to fish with.

It's the anglicized spelling wikipedia uses ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fengshui ) 'cause you have to have chinese script enabled to read the proper seplling: 風水

Yes Jack, I'm getting paid. Work with no pay just doesn't work too well with me. I work in the oil fields and these deep directional holes take anywhere from 60 to 90+ days to drill. I'll be here the whole way except for a couple of days off when they set intermediate casing.

Lets try something a little different

When you remember something from a past life, why is it always a good memory? Shouldn’t it be of something or somewhere that you screwed up royally, so you don’t make that mistake again?

Maybe that explains the time gaps between past lives. You have to go to a classroom somewhere and discuss all the screw-ups you made on the last trip through life. Oh, that should be fun, talk about your one-up-man-ship. My screw-ups are better than your screw ups.

Is the conscience the place where this knowledge is stored and that’s why it bothers you? “Hey, stupid, you screwed this up last time and here we go again.”

Maybe you can’t remember all that came before because there are tests along the way to see if you were truly paying attention or not. If people could remember everything then how many suicides would we have from people losing all hope?

Is suicide a short cut to the next life and is there a penalty for taking it? This would make life like playing a video game with only a save at the end. If you leave early, you have to start from the beginning. Boy that would suck, if where I’m at now is supposed to be advanced, what is the beginning like?
