The part where we are obligated to listen to your request. Once you create a topic and unleash it on the masses you have zero control over where it goes. The fact that these forums are unmoderated only compounds that effect. We will comment where we wish, when we wish, how we wish.

If nobody comments, the thread is just going to vanish off of the first page in nothing flat -- defeating the purpose.

The rather sour flavor of your posts is also likely to prompt deletion of the link in your post, because advertisement isn't allowed unless you have stories posted on Lit. If you've pulled yours, then your link breaks that rule, which is enforced with a fair amount of diligence.

Besides, only a tiny percentage of Lit's readers even know the forum exists, let alone comes here.

In the end, you're more or less spilling sour grapes to little or no effect.

Posting an "I'm gone/don't post to me message" does rather invited comment. Those who really don't want comment (or to be asked why they're leaving) just go quietly without the trumpet fanfare.

Sandy Fox if you were going to change sites and people had asked you to tell them where you were going where would YOU tell them about it. I have it on my authors page this is the next best thing. If you have any ideas to tell people where to find my stories give me some ideas.

Is this your own site? The best thing you can do is optimise it for Google, so that when people search for your brand of pron, they find your writing.
You have to do a lot of self promotion, no matter where your stories are. The popular writers here on lit worked hard to get there-- there are other writers with the same high skills but that stay relatively unknown because they just don't get the word out there. (that would be me heh)
