Well, I figured I'd follow Jen's example and create my own NaNoWriMo progress thread so as to stop spamming the others. :p

You go!

*kicks your butt into gear because that's what this thread is for*

So far today I've written about 500 words. -_- On the bright side, I played through this chapter's duel last night, so I have all that written down. Once I get past the boring tournament explanation and get to the actual duel I should breeze through the rest of the chapter.

Of course, I'm going to need to cut back on checking Lit and Facebook every five seconds if this is going to work.

That does make a difference. :p:p

Stop talking and start typing!

That goes for you other two as well!

Can I share your thread? I'm not comfortable creating my own yet.

Last year there were NaNo threads all over the place. It really helped me out, so I resurrected mine. :)

What's your total so far, Trom? I'm curious. :cattail:

Finished with 4772 tonight, but now I'm tired. Night all!

Get you ass up and start writing! You're burning daylight! Move it! Move it! Move it!

Today, Mr. Trombonus your mission is to write. You are only allowed to check this site and facebook once per hour! You got some catching up to do! you need to focus on that magic 10K for today!

Wow, that's awesome. I'm only at around 2,500 and I think that's were I'm stopping. A co-worker went on maternity leave early, and now I'm stuck with her work. I so wanted to do this this year, but it doesn't look as if I'm going to make it to 25,000 much less 50,000. :(

(P.S. Where'd you get the personalized word meter in your sig from? I'm curious.)

I'm only aiming for 10,000 myself. I'm just using this as an excuse to get writing again. It also allowed me to utilize an idea I've had for a long time, as well as give me an excuse to play with my cards. :D

As for my counter, there's a link on the main NaNoWriMo site. Look under the fun stuff tab, then click word count widgets. You'll find a link that says <img src=" http://www.nanowrimo.org/NanowrimoUtils/NanowrimoMiniGraph/75486.png" />

Delete the parts in bold so that it starts with "http", then replace it with this boards Image tag.

That should work. :p

You may get 2000 or so today (by my calculations, I need to average 1810 words a day to make it), but there is no way I'm getting to 10,000 today. :p

Maybe tomorrow when I have more time.

Nice going, Trom. :)

Thankies. :D

It was a pain in the ass last night because I fucked up my duel playthrough that morning and I really had to stretch in order to make it work. Took way longer than it would have. Today I must be more careful.

I was imagining This as my main heroes theme whenever he turns the tide of the duel at the last minute. :p

I know Jen will appreciate this. :p

:D :D :D

I can totally see that. It's seems a really fitting song for the sort of story you're writing.

Well, I cracked 5000, and played through another duel. This one turned out to be really short though.
