October 31st is less than a week away! So? Will you be in costume? If so, as what? Can we have a sample image? And if you're not dressing up, who in your family is? What have the kids decided on? Will the house be done up in scary decorations? And will you be heading out to a party? Hosting one? Or handing out candy at the door?

Details! Details! Details!

I will be walking my kidlets around the complex, dressed as Freddie Mac. My suit with a cardboard sign reading "Will destroy economy for food."

I'm going to a colleague's party. The theme is the 80's :D I'll be wearing a corset, big, black pouffy skirt, black leggings, pointy heels, one lace fingerless glove, and tacky plastic jewelry.

If I still had hair, I'd crimp it and put a big bow in it.

Ever since I fenced in the front yard and planted vegetables, no one ever comes knocking at our door. We have no social life outside of work anyway, so parties are out. To the best of my knowledge no one is dressing up, going out, doing anything or eating candy. What is this "Halloween" that you refer to?

None, actually, we're saving up candy money to spend on orchids the coming weekend, instead. Santa Barbara Orchid Estate, hyeh com' de b'ar!

Well, it will be a fairly bizarre evening for us.

Daughter marches with the band at a high school football game. The director will allow them to wear costumes during the halftime show (there's no way she can play flute in fangs but I hope she can march in those boots!)

Son will be Batman, and we'll go do Trick or Treating at church and play games there for awhile before going back to see daughter march at the game. Then son and I may leave again to hit a few more houses before picking up daughter.

Hubby will be coaching his football team on another field.

I'm not dressing up.

Until hubby gets home.

We went to a costume party last night. This year I'm a Viking and my boyfriend is a caveman. I have furry boots and he wasn't wearing any pants.

My husband's Sir Edmund Hillary this year. He always goes as whoever died. I haven't decided. I may be a fairy princess this year. I already have the tiara.

No trick or treaters since we live out in the country, but I already bought the spider and skull rings to pass out at school. I gave the cooks spider and bat sprinkles for the cupcakes that day, too.

Well, let's see...

the two who can still go Trick or Treating are going to be one of the fairies from Winx Club and a Mad Scientist...their older brother will, no doubt, dress up as something or other to hang with his friends and walk his siblings around the neighborhood. I'll prolly also go around with the younger kids--esp Leo, since he's high-functioning autistic and doesn't always behave appropriately around strangers or when spun up with excitement and enthusiasm.

Not sure if I'll dress up for that or not...

My night is similar to Sarahh's. Going to be watching teenagers at a football game HOPING they don't get into too much mayhem in costume. My costume... I wear it every day. People tell me it's quite scary, especially when I give that "look."

The lady and I will be dressed as the Mad Hatter and Alice . . . albeit inspired by the costumes and events of the 1975 adult movie. ;)

"What is that?"

"That's my thingamagig! You may touch it."

"Oh, but I couldn't."

"Why not?"

"Because it's yours!"

"I'll share it with you . . . ."

:D

We're holding a Halloween party at our house for us and the hubbies family. We'll leave the party a little bit to take minx tricker-or-treating.

minx will be a fairy/cat (she had to have a cat mask to go with her fairy costume.)

hubby still hasnt decided. and the guests will its 50/50 chance if they dress up or not.

And below is my costume. I have a nice velvelt robe to wear over it to tone it down part of the time and some long black lace gloves. Plus the thigh high leather boots I have on in my av. I may not look like the lady in the photo but i'll feel like I do so thats all that matter.

Like Rob I will also be attending a day after Halloween party. It's a costume party and I'll be going as a pirate. It's going to be a long week considering I'll only have two days off and I have to get the parts for my costume together AND drive to the other side of Houston to get my ticket.

We don't get any trick or treaters because the parrents of this area are afraid of the ?main road." I also don't get invited to parties or get togethers that don't have anything to do with poker, so I will not be dressing up ether.

-chuckles- well lets see...headed out to the country so won't be many if any trick or treaters. However the house is over a 100yrs old so who knows if its haunted :D . Plan to watch scary movies and cuddle with my personal witchy though I think the costume of the day may be birthday suits hehehe :D

We are hosting a party this year...with a 70's theme. I will be a disco diva. We are including the kids so we will have a house full. They are very excited.

However...some of those "play parties" sound way more fun!!!
;)

<---already dressed. :D

We'll be taking the kids out trick or treating. They're going as Wolverine and Batgirl, respectively. And we'll probably sneak into their candy bags after they go to bed. (Such bad parents!)

My brother-in-law took my sister (his wife) who just happened to be about 8 months pregnant at the time and me to that movie. I'm still not quite sure what he was thinking, but I do look at him a bit differently now. :cattail:

Cuz I can't, Amy has taken over costumes this year. The girls are going to go out as cute little fairies (complete with wings )

She got me a half mask that looks like a wolf's snout and a old ladies sleeping cap. I am suppose to be the wolf that took "Grandma's place in Little Red Riding Hood. Amy's costume is a red riding hood and a picnic basket = Little Red Riding Hood.

Yes, I am married to a sick, demented woman. Once the kids are in bed she plans on letting the wolf eat Little Red Riding Hood. God I love her warped mind!
