The mystery of Barack Obama’s missing thesis

Michelle Obama’s thesis can be found anywhere. Despite Princeton’s refusal to release it until after the elections, a quick google will find you a copy for your reading “enjoyment.”

Last week I attempted to find Barack Obama’s college thesis. It just struck me as odd all the discussion of Michelle's, but no mention of Barack’s. So, I decided to seek it out. After a few days of getting nowhere, I asked my readers for help. It was not long before one of my brilliant readers informed me that the topic of his thesis was “Soviet nuclear disarmament,” and Columbia refuses to release it.

When I read those words my mind immediately drifted to the video put out by Barack Obama not long ago, where he promised to basically disarm the United States.

What makes this so much more interesting is the fact that in his book “Dreams of my Father,” Obama wrote that while in high school getting stoned from 1975 to 1979, he was hanging out with, and being groomed by, a well known, and admitted member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), Frank Marshall Davis.

Obama talks about advice he received from “Frank and his old Black Power dashiki self” prior to leaving for Occidental College in 1979, when he was 18 years old.
In his book he went even further. In 1980, while at Occidental College, he was careful to vet his friends. “To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.”

In 1981 Obama transferred to Columbia University, where he claims to have stopped doing drugs, and began living a physically healthy lifestyle.

In 1983 as President Ronald Reagan was attempting to end the cold war, Obama states he was attending Marxist-Socialist conferences at Cooper Union.

It was also during this time that Obama wrote his thesis on Soviet Nuclear Disarmament.

At least now there is no longer a mystery as to why the mainstream media is not going after Obama’s thesis, and why he continues to make himself the candidate of race. Were this thesis released, it may well set off an explosion of nuclear proportions.

Obama's Defense Plan Leaves Us Vulnerable

Sen. Barack Obama has made very little effort to supply the voters with any idea of his real policies. To date most of his speeches concentrate on the smoke and mirrors of feelings but little, if any, substance.

There is one area that Obama has made his intentions very clear; U.S. national defense.

The senator, like his liberal colleagues, stands ready to cut our national security to dangerous levels. During a policy speech on national defense, Obama declared the real enemy to America is not North Korea, Moscow, Beijing, Tehran or bin Laden. According to Obama, the U.S. military is the evil that must be destroyed.

“I will cut tens of billions of dollars in wasteful spending. I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems. I will not weaponize space. I will slow our development of future combat systems,” stated Obama.

The implications here are standard fare for left-wing zealots who hate anything military. For example, Obama pledged to cut the national missile defense, calling it “unproven.”

Ironically, the only way to prove such a defense in combat is to have someone shoot missiles at the U.S. homeland. Of course, without a missile defense, we will be helpless at any such onslaught.

Still, the USS Lake Erie just racked up another in a long series of successful intercepts, proving the U.S. Navy anti-missile systems not only work but work well in simulated combat situations. The Lake Erie scored two direct hits against two missiles fired and destroyed another missile from a moving launch vehicle.

Obama feels that such a defense is unnecessary. Meanwhile, both North Korea and Iran are quickly progressing toward missiles capable of reaching America, Moscow is deploying its latest lethal ICBM, the Topol-M, and China is investing in massive missiles capable of reaching the U.S. homeland.

The last test, performed by the Iranians, proved their missiles could reach Western Europe. The next Iranian test will orbit a small satellite, with the possibility of global reach.

Then there is Obama’s commitment to cut defense in space, pledging to not “weaponize” space. This pledge comes long after the cow has left the barn, or in this case, after China has shot down an orbiting satellite.

The Chinese anti-satellite test sprayed hundreds of thousands of pieces of debris into near orbit, adding to the dangers of space travel. The Chinese test also proved that the PRC has already weaponized space, thus any pledge by Obama to not take defensive measures is just a way of leaving the communists in the high ground, threatening our satellites with instant destruction.

In addition, Obama’s pledge to slow weapon systems is just as short-sighted as the rest of his declarations. The fact is that slowing weapons deployment raises their costs astronomically — not to mention the fact that we may already need these new weapons.

Then there are systems that we are developing that our allies will use. Things we have already sold to Europe, Asia and the middle-east. For example, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter is slated to replace over 4,000 aging jets around the world and in the U.S. inventory.

Any effort to slow its development will cost American jobs, threaten the defense of countless allies and force U.S. fighter pilots to fly aircraft that in some cases are over 30 years old. In short, Obama’s pledge will bring unemployment, and force our allies to seek other global vendors to meet their defense needs.

However, these issues are lost on Obama in his wild-eyed, anti-military role. In fact, there is one statement from Obama’s speech that cuts our national defense to the very brink of war.

“I will set a goal for a world without nuclear weapons. To seek that goal, I will not develop nuclear weapons; I will seek a global ban on the production of fissile material; and I will negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair-trigger alert, and to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenal,” noted Obama.

It is interesting to note that in order to “not develop” nuclear weapons, the U.S. arsenal will quickly fade. Senator Obama, as president, will be faced immediately with the choice of unilateral disarmament — no nuclear assets — or spend the money necessary to maintain the minimum levels specified by the strategic arms treaties with Moscow.

The current treaties are set to reduce the nuclear weapons stockpiles to historic lows. The ICBMs are never on hair trigger alert despite the senator’s inflamed remarks. The aging Minuteman missiles, a force we have depended on for nearly 40 years, will need upgrades to maintain the current level of 450 missiles.

Oh no, to keep his pledge, President Obama will let the U.S. missiles rot while Moscow deploys a new generation of Topol-M monsters and China deploys its Dong Feng 31 series. In addition, President Obama will remove any chance of defense by canceling the National Missile Defense which could save millions of lives otherwise snuffed out in the blinding flash of nuclear hell-fire.

This entire scenario goes against the liberal corner-stone of defense policy — Mutually Assured Destruction or MAD. With no defense and no offense, the U.S. homeland will be a helpless target for both major powers and minor players alike.

Clearly, the senator has not considered what his pledges will do to global security, much less U.S. security. His Neville Chamberlain promise to wave paper treaties in place of real defense is a sure fire way toward war. The Obama defense is a plan for disaster that will be paid with the blood of U.S. soldiers and perhaps by millions of American lives at home.

A thesis requires a great deal of time and energy for a student to express their beliefs about a relevant subject.

Whereas, Obama's thesis has not been released to the public for review and analysis of his early development thinking, Michelle Obama's has.

It clearly outlines her early thinking about black people in a white world.


Princeton Releases Michelle Obama's Senior Thesis

Michelle Obama's thesis was released to the public by Princeton University Tuesday after several days of media scrutiny over its availability and content.

The campaign of Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), her husband, received criticism from conservative media and bloggers when the University restricted access to her senior thesis until after the presidential election in November.

"A thesis can be restricted or unrestricted for a variety of reasons, including at the request of alumni," University spokeswoman Cass Cliatt '96 said in an e-mail. "It falls within the purview of alumni to discuss their academic work," she said.

What's in the thesis?

The thesis, titled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community" and written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson.

Mrs. Obama, who concentrated in sociology and received a certificate in African-American studies, examined how the attitudes of black alumni have changed over the course of their time at the University. "Will they become more or less motivated to benefit the Black community?" Obama wrote in her thesis.

After surveying 89 black graduates, Obama concluded that attending the University as an undergraduate decreased the extent to which black alumni identified with the black community as a whole.

Obama drew on her personal experiences as an example.

"As I enter my final year at Princeton, I find myself striving for many of the same goals as my White classmates -- acceptance to a prestigious graduate school or a high-paying position in a successful corporation," she wrote, citing the University's conservative values as a likely cause.

"Predominately White universities like Princeton are socially and academically designed to cater to the needs of the White students comprising the bulk of their enrollments," she said, noting the small size of the African-American studies department and that there were only five black tenured professors at the University across all departments.

Obama studied the attitudes of black Princeton alumni to determine what effect their time at Princeton had on their identification with the black community. "My experiences at Princeton have made me far more aware of my 'Blackness' than ever before," she wrote in her introduction. "I have found that at Princeton no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my White professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don't belong. Regardless of the circumstances underwhich I interact with Whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be black first and a student second." "

Michelle Obama and Black Separationists at Princeton

For months during the nominating process, Michelle Obama’s graduating thesis has been under lock and key at Princeton University. The university stated suspiciously that it would be available to the public after the general election. Nobody knew why until now.

Michelle Obama’s Refined Racism

The sequestering of an academic thesis was unprecedented at Princeton, a liberal university that prides itself on open access to scholarly information. Despite repeated attempts by media organizations to view the document, Obama’s alma mater would provide no explanation for hiding it.

The thesis written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn, is titled “Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community.”

The excerpts show that Obama identifies with black militancy, utterly obsessed with race in America and her own blackness. It is a fundamentally racist document, shocking when considering that this scholarship is the product of a presidential candidate’s wife at a great university.

She mourns that she will face “further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant.”

Obama’s thesis is full of paranoid claims and overtly racist feelings. She cannot accept the idea of a diverse student body working together in a melting pot. Others worry about her black militancy expressed throughout the document.

“I have found that at Princeton, no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my White professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don’t belong. Regardless of the circumstances under which I interact with Whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be black first and a student second.”

Not only does she see separate black and white societies in America, but she elevates black over white in her world.

“There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I was somehow obligated to this community and would utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit this community first and foremost. “

What is Michelle Obama planning to do with her future resources that will elevate black over white in America?

Most alarming is her use of the terms “separationist” and “integrationist” when describing the views of black people. She clearly identifies herself with a “separationist” view of race.

“By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desperation of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution as opposed to an integrationist who is ignorant to their plight.”

Here is another typical passage that is uncomfortable for its poor writing, but nevertheless ominous in meaning:

“Attending Princeton has probably forced black alumni to compete intellectually with Whites more than with Blacks and, thus, they have probably become more familiar with Whites intellectually, but in other activities they are likely to have gained familiarity with Whites if they did not spend time with Whites in other activities besides intellectual ones. “

Is it no wonder that most black alumni ignored her racist questionnaire? Only 89 responded out of 400 who were asked for input.

The following passage appears to be a call to arms for affirmative action policies that could be the hallmark of an Obama administration.

“Predominately White universities like Princeton are socially and academically designed to cater to the needs of the White students comprising the bulk of their enrollments.”

The conclusion of the thesis is alarming. Michelle Obama’s poll of black alumni helps her understand that other black students at Princeton do not share her obsession with blackness. She laments that only 1/3 say they are more comfortable around black people than white people.

But rather than celebrate, she is horrified that black alumni identify with our common American culture more than they value the color of their skin.

“I hoped that these findings would help me conclude that despite the high degree of identification with Whites as a result of the educational and occupational path that black Princeton alumni follow, the alumni would still maintain a certain level of identification with the black community. However, these findings do not support this possibility.”

Michelle Obama does not look into a crowd and see Americans. She sees black people and white people eternally conflicted with one another.

That is a very divisive view for a potential first lady that would do untold damage to race relations in this country in a Barack Obama administration. Michelle Obama’s intellectually refined racism should give all Americans pause for deep concern.
