... a DVD decoder.
Since my TV is off being repaired, the only other place for me to watch a DVD is my computer. Anyone know a decent free one for XP?
DivX.
Of course, that's assuming you have a DVD drive. If so, then Media player should already be able to run it.
If you wish to view the movie feature, press EXIT and start your DVD player application.
Press WEB LINK to activate your Internet Browser and link to the "snatch" movie web-site.
It is a DVD drive. But... it doesn't run.
I haven't tried playing a DVD since I re-installed XP, so I thought I must have had something before that I didn't re-install.
When I try playing the DVD it tells me this (I tried "Snatch" for good measure):
Figuring my DVD player application was Windows media player, I tried that and was told I needed a DVD decoder. The media center is bitching about the same thing.
VLC Media Player works well as well. I used to use that before I had a DVD player for my TV.
*slaps forehead*
That's what I had before. I think. I'm pretty sure.
