It's been a few years ago now , but you've just described precisely a theme in a past relationship . Anything that wavered even remotely from the " norm" ( whatever the hell that is ) , was over the top and considered taboo .... It's difficult to sometimes understand how wanting to please your partner in whatever way they need or desire can throw a wrench into the entire picture.
