You have my sympathy Abrstruse. My dog is here with me now as I write. He's 10 yrs.old and I sometimes remind myself that he's a senior dog and has more years behind him than ahead. If and when something happens to I'm I know it's going to be just like losing a family member. I will grieve, just as I'm sure you are now. I hope you manage to find some comfort during this time by remembering the joy and companionship that Molly and you provided for one another and reminding yourself that you made her short time here a very happy life, just as she did with you. The time you shared together has enriched both of your lives, made each of you happier and more than a little more whole. Although we are different species, I believe that we share a special bond with our pets that transcends what separates us. I'm sure that you and Molly exemplified that. Take care.

I agree. We've been together so long that I cannot accept the lack of Devine Justice that would not have given them souls. I actually look forward to seeing my old ones again in a field that is always autumn and alive with game to chase.
