Yes, it is still a volunteer military and yes, many have gone before Me and many will continue to go after I am back. . . nonetheless, I was stating the facts about who I am and if you are anyone else were not interested, no response was simple enough. . .

You have no indication of My relationship with My wife, I can be involved in an open relationship or seperated. . . I could be married to a woman that does not support what I do for this country. . . nonetheless, My openness only allows those that open the post to recognize where I am and anything that could possibly affect any contact to be had. . .

Sir, I have the upmost respect fot our military.....men as well as women. You also have no idea about me or my wife for sure. We are both retired Military and I have 53 months in the combat zone.
Quit crying about where you are going and go with God. When you return, we shall see how you feel!!!

Not to start anything, but I enjoy knowing that he is honest enough to tell me that he is married. And also that he is going to be deployed, and what he is looking for.

At no time did I see that he was " complaining " about his duties.

I thought he was being honest in what he was looking for, and why he was looking for it.

I also don't feel that wanting a female penpal is " cheating " , especially considering he never stated that he was looking for " sex conversation". He did however clearly state that he enjoyed ALL types of conversations. So. I think you over reacted. And you should just let the man find his female pen pals.

Oh, and maybe he is looking for female penpals, so when he comes home, he can show his wife " these are the ladies that have been writing to me", and she won't think he's become gay, by being around, and writing to nothing but men. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay, lesbian, or any of the other terms, because I myself am bi.

Ok, he's honest with a bunch of strangers on a message board. That's really not too big a feat. Is he honest with the people in his life whom he presumably cares about, that is, his wife? That he mentioned that his wife could be ok with it, and not that she is is probably telling. That he's not doing this with her is moreso.

That he is posting this ad on a porn board, in the BDSM personals section rather than on penpals.org or some such thing would imply that he's looking for "sex conversation." Whether you consider this cheating or not is immaterial, as it's his wife's opinion on the matter that counts.

Ok, you're bi. But are you bi by contagion? Because you seem to be implying that by being around men, and talking/writing to them he could catch the gay. And if he's not looking for "sex conversation," why would it matter who he writes to? Also, do you seriously think he'd come home with these letters to prove to his wife that he hasn't "become" (your word) gay? Were my boyfriend to come home saying something like, "Honey, Baby Sweetheart, great news! I'm not gay! Let me introduce you to all the women I've been fooling around on you with" it would be a bad night for both of us. One would think that by virtue of being his wife, she would already know and he wouldn't need to prove his heterosexuality.


OP, I'm sure you can tell I have my opinion on the matter, but this post wasn't intended to be a value judgment on or your life choices. I just think the previous poster is silly and I'm feeling like something of a jerk today.
