Forum Time Most Active

I was just wondering about the time that this forum is usually the most active. Seems to be my luck that when I'm on, almost no one is posting, I go to sleep, and *poof* I come back and a huge amount of posts and threads are here. Heh, but then agian, theres bound to be alot after 8 hours ect. Just wondering.

Ok, I've found it gets busy about 3 to 4 pm my time (pacific standard time) and it's also busy about 9 to 10 am my time. I realize that that's because 3 pm my time is 5 to 6 most of america's time and 9 am my time is 11 am most of america's time. (Think - lunch break and getting home from work.)

The evenings that I work I'm on really late...like up until 3am. That late, there isn't much activity on the site.

I didn't work last night, and I'm getting over the plague, so I crashed early yesterday, and woke up at 4am.



I'm on the eastern STD US time.

I have noticed the pattern of time zones too. Since I am in the EST, I see most activity, near 7-8 am for the brits, noon to 1 pm for us and 3-4 for the Pac'ers. It rotates some for end of office hours too. Then there are the 'overnighters'; those who live in Japan and China and other reverse time zones. Just float around and enjoy what you can when you can. Nice to see a new face 'round here.

Lit members are predominantly north american so that's something to factor in if you're outside the USA. It can actually be a bonus to browse the site during quieter times as peak times slow the site down somewhat, which can be frustrating. You don't miss much around here, threads can be picked up and put down whenever and if somebody replies to a post of yours you can hit quote and continue the dialogue whenever you like. I really wouldn't worry about it.
