seriously that is great news mate, I have seen your set up at home and know that a few things like that will help for sure.
exciting few days here, T and I took my son camping for a few nights and my son and I decided to take the canoe down a very fast flowing river, all went very well till we came to a tree laying on the waters serface, canoe went under the tree and we tried to climb over but son got pinned and we both had to work bloody hard to get him free....
all good though, little damage to the canoe and we finished the rest of the trip with cracking jokes of how I was going to explain to his mum if we hadnt got him free...
all in all a very easy, relaxing, scary few days in the Vic high country

I hear your heading to Sydney..... so close but sorry to say there is no way I can pay you a visit, time and money wont allow it... would like you to meet my other half one day, told her lots about you (but not everything
) so far she has meet Orlanth, Roz and Webbo and liked them all...yep even Orlanth she now understands a little about my extended on line family..

We're all good, dialysis going ok *fingers crossed it keeps on that way!* I'm a little more relaxed about it now but still stress a bit (Gil will say too much!). Most times I snuggle up behind him and we'll have a nap for an hour or two while he's on the machine (and don't listen to him when he says he hates it
Glad the weather is warming up too, we were getting sick of the cold!
great to hear the dialysis is going well, even better to hear your able to head to Qld in Nov, that has to be a good indication of what a great nurse you are

Hey there,
yep that about sums it up...it just went. Good footy Grand Final though and the weather was good too. A little hot for running around, but ideal for watching.
Been doing a job app. Would rather be doing other stuff but priorities won the day.
Got me out of doing the mowing though. Although getting the new lawn mower out of the box could be a start.
Must find time to do that or at least find other reasons not to open it until I really really have to.

Unfortunately for me, I ruined it by doing my tax return....and figured out that I OWE money!?
I don't think I'll lodge it until a few more weeks....I prefer delay the pain of a tax bill.

beautiful warm day here - started off at the art gallery, then took my camera down to south bank, the nepalese pagoda, lizards, lunch and then got caught into watching some pretty good buskers - brother sister duo, he on lead, she on bass, doing rock songs. wandered past southbank beach, and then past a wedding, across to the botanic gardens. was a lovely day, and then came home and there was a concert on abc, nessum dorma, 1812 overture and the like.

Mine is getting better every day, 10 more days then I'm off on holidays for 2 months
