i've been packing... i figure if everything goes pearshaped, it's easier to be ready.
if things go fine, i can always unpack.

apart from that, toe has finally healed enough for me to go back and get walking (i've gone up 1.5 kg, and need to lose it asap!)

LOL 1.5kg isn't that much I'm hovering between 70 and 70.5kg atm - doing weights and kick boxing at the gym plus walking whenever I can. My diet is much the same as it always was, except not as much fast food (maybe once a fortnight if that, but I don't deny myself treats if I want them).

Glad the toe is healed, mine took about 6 weeks to become pain free after I broke it in 2006.

i'll deal with the ache.

We're all good, dialysis going ok *fingers crossed it keeps on that way!* I'm a little more relaxed about it now but still stress a bit (Gil will say too much!). Most times I snuggle up behind him and we'll have a nap for an hour or two while he's on the machine (and don't listen to him when he says he hates it )

Glad the weather is warming up too, we were getting sick of the cold!

i thought about getting the surgery.... but then i met with the surgeon, and after finding out what's involved, i'd really rather not.
they want to break it in 2 places, then stick a bloody great pin in the length of it which will protrude out the end of my toe, then cast the front of my foot and keep me off it completely for 7 weeks.
rrriiiiiiiiii -iiiiiiiiiggghhhhtt!!!
the alternative is to leave it, allow the toe to settle into it's own thing, and deal with an ache here and there.
of course, when i get old, it'll most likely hurt a bit - but i figure by then i'll have a few more aches and pains to help mask it

It's 30 hours a week, and things to help my lifestyke like new big er bed with air mattress (it's WQ proof), new hoist, new bathroom wheelchair, new eletric wheelchair etc.
