I've been a redhead for a bit now (played with various colors on my hair this year)... and today I went to touch up the color. Bought one I hadn't bought before - that was silly of me. It was the "Experte" (or whatever) one that comes with the highlighting kit in it. I thought... oooo... nifty! Yeah, it was a bad idea.

My hair was then red with orangey-yellow-gold highlights. And I didn't exactly do a stellar job with placement, either.

So tonight... I wanted to fix it. Can't leave because the kiddo's sleeping, so I tried to figure out what I had in the house that I could use. Best I had was a temp medium ash brown dye. So I squirted some of that on my head and rubbed it in... then rinsed it out.

It's not great, but I guess it works.
