You left out something along the lines of "do you want to roleplay it with people who are not really family members."

Also, "While fantasizing that you are someone beautiful, you could imagine being involved in actual incest because your family members would also be gorgeous, but your real family members are not attractive."

Incest is Best

Just love to fantasize. Great subject for lit stories! I like daddy/daughter, brother/sister the best.

it is pure fantasy. in fact the thought of sex with one of my actual family members really turns me off. well, except for one of my cousins and my niece

but somehow the idea is a real turn on. the incest stores are some of my favorite. maybe because it is so forbidden??? i must admit i never tried to think about why too much, afraid of what i might uncover. sometimes it is best not to think and just whack off!

My Mother

I want have incest with my own mother. It is a fantasy and I wish my fanasy will come true.

I have lusted after my oldest sister for a few years now, there are times when i think she may be interested but i never know for sure! If i ever get the chance i will take it!

What would it take for someone to actually push the boundaries and attempt to seduce a family member? How does one read a family member's sexual interest? It must be so different than dating or something, where rejection is just rejection - what happens though when it's with a family member?

For any out there that have actually had an incestual relationship - how did it start? how did you know they were interested/willing?

It is just a fantasy for me

I have never had a brother, only one sister. I cannot imagine having any sexual feelings that would make me actually act on it with anyone in my family. I do love the brother/sister fantasy for some reason. Since I never had a brother, who knows what might have happened, but I doubt it.

If you ever need a volunteer for a "brother" to see what might happen, just let me know. ;)

I prefer the young siblings exploring their sexuality together. I did have 2 step-sisters when I was growing up, maybe the desires stem from them; certainly not my own sister. Always had a thing for my step-mom, but my guess is that is fairly common. I hit pay dirt when I was 16 and found some polaroid pics of her naked! :D

To me, the fun part is voyeuristic; I don't mean watching the sexual gymnastics- that bores me; but knowing both people, and knowing/understanding the desire for incest on the part of one of them, and then watching how they interact in their daily lives- the "I know a secret" syndrome- warms me up, whether the incest goes anywhere "for real" or not. When you realize that the only really important sex organ is the brain, you sort of understand the Biblical verse about "if you have done it in your heart (mind, actually) then you have done it."

Oh, such a Puritanist twist with the Biblical quote - no more fantasy, no literotica - how can that be healthy and normal? I agree with the brain as the only important sex organ, but doesn't mean we now have to constrain it, does it? It's bad enough we have to constrain our other organs with social constructs like monogamy!

Oh, my- I don't disagree with you that much. I searched my message to find where I said fantasies, literotica, or even actual incest aren't good, nor permissible. I can't find it. Care to enlighten me? The reference to the Bible is because it's the most important- and widely read- book in Western civilization. It wasn't in a religious context. I certainly have no religious objections to sex or sexuality- and the Bible doesn't require monogamy.

Guess I was over reading. But my memory unfortunately goes back to Jimmy Carter's confession of how he has "sinned" in his heart by lusting after other women. Thus, for some, drawing upon that particular quote, even thinking about sex that is not sanctified within a marriage is sinful....

the Bilble doesn't require monogamy? I like your interpretation.... :D

Interesting that a thread on incest could turn to religion, but I was born and raised a Southern Baptist, which I definitely am not anymore. I NEVER understood how the "if you have done it in your heart, then you have done it" verse. I knew way back then I was definitely going to hell. LOL

I am a very sexual being, and as someone said, that he gave us these feelings and desires, yet we are not supposed to act on them? Seems like a sick sense of humor. Look, but don't touch? I just cannot agree with that bible verse and have much trouble with things written there myself. And I have studied religion.

So back to incest, where do you think the saying incest is best came from? LOL. It is hot to think about, I guess because it is so taboo.

Ramblings of a person on too much cold medicine!

I guess its the fact that it is Taboo and considered so wrong that makes it such a turn on for many! I think there is also a factor of being with somebody you REALLY know and trust that attracts people to it! I think thats what attracts me to the notion

Incest has additional symbolic weight besides being taboo. It plays a role in many of the world's mythological systems - it's very typical in creation myths to see a scenario where there is originally only one couple (typically the earth and the sky) and they have male and female children, who then marry each other to become the ancestors of all the life in the world. Another common scenario is that there is only one god or goddess to begin with, they are mysteriously able to create a single child of the opposite gender, then this parent-child pair again become the ancestors of all the life in the universe. Another myth common among native north and south americans is that a brother secretly seduced his sister in the dark, she wanted to know who her lover was so she stained his face or chest with berry juice or soot, then when she saw the marks on her brother she ran away and became the sun, and he, chasing her, became the moon (the marks being the shadows from craters i.e. the man in the moon).

Sociologically, incest is basically the ultimate form of endogamy. The other end of the spectrum, exogamy, also plays a huge role in myth and erotica: this is bestiality, sff interspecies sex, and interracial sex. To people at the tribal level the issue of endogamy vs. exogamy is very important politically and economically. A lot of tribes operate on a system where men trade their sisters for wives, or a man trades his daughter for his son's wife. As a result the two men become political allies, and bound to protect each others' children, and if there was initially a disparity in wealth between the two families the alliance tends to even it out. Naturally, a man who married his female relative instead of trading her would screw this system up, and if he happened to be rich it would also be seen as him greedily keeping that wealth in the family.

Interesting discussion. I never thought about it before but if all of us are descended from Adam and Eve, doesn't there have to be incest involved somehow, somewhere?

Just to take this in a direction it probably shouldn't go, this means that not only does Sarah Palin condone statuatory rape/teen sex, but also wants to teach incest is best in our schools by teaching "creationism"?

hmmmm...

very interesting observation.

When i was younger, i fooled around with my cousin.

I have what I think is a permanent incest fetish!

Worried about the idea of having a daughter now though...

Yeah, agree with this one. It's a really weird logic, I know, but as much as I get off on the fiction, I cannot extend this one to real life at all. Nu huh.

I have also fooled around with a cousin though..
