There is an age limit on characters at Lit. I believe they must be 18. Someone else might come along and confirm or deny that later.

I must say I envy your position, because I think back of when I was where you are. Like anything new, it didn't seem that special then, but if I had more direction, I would have made it more memorable. But, I was very young when I finally understood BDSM.

Other than the library, I'd say you're on the right track. Reading storys of interest can go a long way in learning about yourself. Just take things slow, until you know more about what interests you. Even then, there are those out in the real world who will take advantage of your newness, if you let them. Knowing about them is just a part of knowing about this lifestyle. But, the library has threads about that, too.
