The ad (McCain's) says Chicago power broker Tony Rezko got "political favors" including "$14 million from taxpayers." But there's no evidence of any connection to the Obama home purchase. The $14 million was to build apartments for low-income seniors. Obama wrote a letter supporting the "worthy" project, but both men say Rezko didn't ask for the letter.

It says Rezko "purchased part of the property [Obama] couldn't afford." Rezko's wife did buy an adjoining tract but later sold the land at a profit. Obama paid market price for his home.

Rezko is a non-issue for Obama to anyone but you.

He caricatures the conservative message as "You're on your own." Palin, of Alaska, still carries the spark of the frontier, the independence, and the spunk. I think Americans will identify with her far more than with Senator (been in Washington for 97 years) Biden.

It's true. But is it a compromised pro-life plan with realistic programs and council that support and fund unwanted pregnancies, mothers, children and their families including council for the hundreds of thousands (millions even) who are now considered baby murderers in a court of law?

I care about the future of my children that live and breathe and rely on me for food, shelter, care and love.

To vote for McCain, is a vote for a man who has advocated by his votes with Bush that he is pro-war, even if that means a failure of a war that only lines the pockets of private oil and defense corps and foreign oil and the politicians who invest in them while stressing the economy to the point of foreclosures, job losses, health care bankruptcy and full blown recession.

Therefore, McCain stands for pro-post abortion; the killing of living, breathing innocent men, women and children as well as our own young men and women in a war that has lasted longer than WWII for nothing.

Don't take me the wrong way. I believe that abortion should be decided between a doctor and a patient and that it should never ever be abused and used as a form of birth control or to take care of an unwanted, unplanned for or inconvenient pregnancy. I'd love to see laws that tighten up the responsibility of pregnancy prevention, education and support for women who are facing an unexpected pregnancy so that it is never the easiest option. I think abortion is abused and over used and it breaks me heart, but I don't believe in using it as a political platform because it's an empty promise that will not be fulfilled. It’s used to sway right-wing zealots and religious groups who are a bunch of fucking hypocrites in the first place!

He just seems like a really sucky option.

Not that you care, but I retract my earlier statement about you not discussing issues. Well put and I actually couldn't agree with you more. While I think that abortion is not by any means the most pressing issue in this election, I hate the fact that the Pro Life and Pro Life camps seem to speak only in absolutes. It's not the job or capability of our government to instill responsibility in it's citizens, but perhaps it's time for the government to try and encourage it. People should stop thinking everyone who has an abortion is a baby killer or that anyone against abortion is some sort of zealot. I've been fortunate in my life to never have to go through this with a chold of mine, but I've had close friends who have had to sadly terminate a pregnacy due to circumstance and then I've known a few people who used it like birth control and no big deal.

For what it's worth, my apologies to you.
