Creating a Wikipedia article about chyoo.com

Hey y'all. I was thinking I could create a Wikipedia article about Chyoo. I was wondering if some of the senor members could help me with the history of chyoo and creating the page.

I guess this just feels kinda private. The people who come here and contribute are great, but having people leaf through wikipedia and then post a bunch of comments about it on their discussion page, that doesn't feel like it would be pleasant.

I don't think the people at wiki will let the article stay up, btw. They have a thing about stuff on the web achieving a certain level of notoriety before they let it have an entry. I've seen articles about stuff with bigger communities than ours be taken down because they weren't noteworthy enough. Like Ron Jeremy gets an entry because he's in regular movies and cameos on Family Guy and stuff, but your average porn star doesn't get a page.

Actually there's quite a high amount of porn star entries on Wikipedia. The notoriety of a thing is fairly irrelevant, with Wikipedia the standard of article is generally what's important.

I've seen many, many articles taken down for irrelevancy. The quality of the article is a major factor, but they definitely take articles don for noteworthiness.
