Noooooooo I hate tea very UnBrit of me I know ... apparently I used to drink it as a child then I was very ill and would never touch it again.

Don't know if you recall that article I was writing on Dogs blood pressure but it has been acccepted and any updates on it too! Get your old dogs eyes tested folks high blood pressure forces off the retinas and makes them go blind

When I first got sent the Gimp I also got very clear instructions for the bit I was using at the time .... all I ever wanted was the same sort of instructions for putting words on pics.

Hi Frank pleased to meet you I'm Annie from across the pond

I'll try to play around with it tonight to remember how to do it, and figure out how to explain it.

Thanks honey bunch your a cuddly bear

ooooooooo fiddlesticks I've forgotten to put the roast innnnnnnnnnn >>>>> goooooooone

Chef!! wherever you are, painting or something, I just wanted to tell you, I was perusing your recipe page and found that Cheesecake recipe.

That's it! That's the one! when I asked about a recipe a while back, I got several responses and made Ange's, it was awesome, very delicate and rich, but yours is the one with the ricotta and sour cream, OMG, it is heavenly. I had that recipe for years and went into some cleaning phase and somehow it became lost, or tossed, whatever, it was gone.

I love your recipe page. Thank you for taking the time to do that. Very cool.

:)

NJ, If I could, I'd bake one for you and bring it there. But there's a lot further away now. Sob.

Okay, open the pic in GIMP. However you do that is you rbusiness, but I assume that you know how.

Click on the Tools menu.
Click on Text.

This opens the Text tool in the same window as the tool tips. You can select font, colour, size, etc there.

Left-click where you want the text to be.

This opens the Text Tool. Type your text in that window.

Now rotating and resizing and such is a bit more complicated, but that it the basic method by which you add text.

mess in the kitchen

so there is a monstress mess in the kitchen, but I have managed to create sumutous cookies, chocolate chip, oatmeal rasin, and triple fudge. Lemon and raspberry berry bars are on the counter with the cookies. While I am busy cleaning the kitchen, I've set out a soup pot, for my stone soup, every one is invited to drop their favorite ingredients into the pot, hopefully by the time the kitchen is clean the soup shall be wonderful. But please be careful there are banana peals all over from the banana bread that is also out on the counter.

lol bananas

black spotted bananas
soft squishy smelly
no good for my taste
i like em green
and hard to peel

time measures
ethylene
green to gold to gone
too far

that is the point
where the inventive
finds flour
makes a mess
to laugh at later

Beef Wellington

Ingredients
2- 2½-lb. beef tenderloin (filet mignon)
Ground black pepper (optional)
17.3 oz. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)
1 egg
1 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. butter OR margarine
2 cups finely chopped mushrooms
1 medium onion, finely chopped

Procedure
1. PLACE beef in lightly greased roasting pan. Season with black pepper, if desired. Roast at 425°F. for 30 min. or until meat thermometer reads 130°F. Cover and refrigerate 1 hr.

2. THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 40 min. Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix egg and water.

3. HEAT butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook mushrooms and onion until vegetables are tender and liquid is evaporated.

4. UNFOLD pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll into rectangle 4" longer and 6" wider than beef. Brush with egg mixture.

5. Spoon mushroom mixture onto pastry to within 1" of edges. Place beef in center of mushroom mixture. Starting at long sides, fold pastry over beef. Fold in ends. Press edges to seal. Place seam-side down on baking sheet. Brush with egg mixture.

6. BAKE for 25 min. or until golden and thermometer reads 140°F.

A little of this...a little of that...and I'll have you spinning on the kitchen table in no time!!

That was SO COOL! It is so dead on! I even had Amy read my results and she said that it was me to a T! So here I am:

MOOD = Easy Rider: "Romantic with the taste for the exotic!" (LOL)
FUN = Thriller: "You're insatiable. You have a high sex drive and an appetite for love" (Muahahahaha!)
HABITS = Back to Basics: ~Clothes whore! (Duh!)
SOCIAL = Thoughtful: "Friendships are all about being there for one another. Freedom equals love. The comfort of being loved in the warmth of your family lets you be free." (Awwww!)
