Who's gonna stay up all night and watch meteors with me?

I bet that mouse would like to watch the show.

Best viewing hours should be just before sunrise, or about 7 AM Eastern. The Moon goes down about 1:30 AM and frequency should pick up from then on.

Like Jimmy Durante used to say, "Linka-dinka-doo!"

The Geminids usually fall on my birthday to celebrate with me. Cheer up. It's celestial.

And there goes that damn mouse again.....

Well, okay. Maybe I'll go outside later. I have to take advantage of living out in the country. The arora borealis were spectacular the other night.

A mouse ran out of the grass along the ditch and onto the road this morning as I was walking the dog. The dog nearly pulled me off my feet. The mouse escaped unharmed.

It's a beautiful clear night here. Usually I'd have no trouble staying up late. Unfortunately Gloria woke me up at about 5 this morning with her honking. I don't think I can last another hour let alone the 3 or 4 needed for prime viewing.

I think I'll spend some time out on the deck tonight.

Bert, how fa out are you? I should come by.

I wish I could see them, the moon is just too bright down here.
