I saw the dark knight movie with christian bale and heath ledger, ((rip, to an amazing actor))

I wanted to mention it here,

Anyone see it. ??

And btw, its a re-admission that good is hot, but bad is better, torrid and uncommonly chivalris*(sp?)

Batman in the dark knight is more than a hero in this movie, and that's what I want in my dominant.

More than a man or a hero... a dedicated watchful guardian, to do what needs to be done when its hard and complicated. When you don't get all the prizes and kudos.

Sometimes its a thankless job. Sometimes its not a popularity contest, and we don't get recognized for what we are. Or we are asked to do something insurmountable or painful, but the worthwhile ones get the task done.

And then there's 'bad guys' who are sociopaths who do shit just to do it. Not for any reason, and there's no sence to be made.

Mmmm. Christian bale's voice was so low and hot when he'd growl. I wanted to hear him order me that way.

I was having dirty thought upon dirty though...

Still am.

I haven't seen it, but I want to. I hear it's great. And Heath Ledger is seriously hot.

Didn't have much to turn me on... no Harley Quinn :(

Was entertaining though, very amusing, I love dark humor.

Heath is all kinds of fine, sociopath or not.

He was seriously unreal as the joker.

**bows her head**

i've been told more times than i can count i take myself too seriously. i'm pretty sure someone could help me with that.

He played the joker to a tee, the timing/connotation/delivery was amazing...

Everyone must see.

Im in awe.

The Dark Knight is one of those movies that does not have one wasted scene, they edited this baby down so it was lean and mean. It hit the fucking mark on every twist and turn. Great performances and great story. When you see something this good it always amazes you someone hasn't fucked it up, it was simply one of the best movies you could see.

Ledger was great, that goes without saying but don't forget the actor that played Harvey Dent, he played a superb role.

My husband and I are the only people I know who hated it. I don't mean just diliked it, but absolutely hated the movie. I almost walked out. I can't really go into details about why without spoiling the movie for others so I'll just be quiet.

I had the same complaint -- the whole time I was waiting for Harley Quinn. Such a shame.

That being said, I was more attracted to the Joker than Batman. I was absolutely in love when he got hit and started laughing. Gotta love a man who can take a beating ;)

Also, the movie gave me nightmares. Like, wake up screaming, hyperventilating, drooling, sustained panic, unable to speak nightmares.

I haven't watched it yet, but will be going to a midnight showing tomorrow at 11:59 pm. Here in Denmark the official release day isn't until Wednesday.

you must be smart.

My biological (a important distinction) father said the same thing. Great range of character, in going from so good to so bad, the white knight.... I better not be a spoiler.

Really? I find that very surprising. I'd be curious to know why you didn't like it in a PM so it doesn't ruin the plot for everyone who hasn't seen it yet.

omg.

I thought I had you on ignore.

**nevermind, i do have him on ignore but for some damn reason it let me see what he wrote when it was the last post to the thread... kilted kink huh, oh brother.

I feel all weird and uncomfortable now.

I am going to see the dark knight in imax tonight, haha... im excited and i have allready seen it, lol

Just saw it today. I didn't find anything about it particularly hot - although seeing anything with Maggie Gyllenhal transports me back to Secretary - but I did like it. Didn't hate it, didn't love it...liked it.

I think it is tragically poetic that it was Heath Ledger's last movie. That performance was so masterful, it would have been hard to beat. I see him in a kind of James Dean light now.

Ah.....

Well I thank you for the reminder.

i loved the Joker and not just because Heath was hot. His character was compelling. i want to know what drove him. i think there are certain types of information that can only be known through destruction, through tearing down. i am utterly addicted to knowing things.

Aaron Eckhart

I have loved him since he played long haired, motorcycle riding George in "Erin Brokovich" He was sexy then, and is sexy now. He played an awesome role in Dark Knight!!

I think the special effects/makeup should definetly be recognized also

Yes, the Two Face makeup was outstanding! Great blend of CGI and prosthetics. Although not being a big Two Face fan myself, all I could think of was "you can't survive like that, with eye and bone exposed, that's so unrealistic!"
