An odd question

So I just had to reformat my whole laptop. Which essentially means that everything is gone.
All my music. All my docs (save a few dozen chosen ones) and all my pics. Including all my avatars.

So the question: did anyone save any of my av pics over the years? And if so, could I have a copy? Pretty please.

I can give an email or you could attach here or you could tell me I'm in denial that anyone would have saved one.

I totally sympathize with you. I went on to my laptop one night after my daughter had been using it and all my stuff was gone. I freaked! All my music, my novel, my freelance articles, my poetry, photos of my artwork, everything was gone!

I don't know what happened, but I restarted the laptop and everything was back the way it was supposed to be. Needless to say, I bought a flashdrive for my writing and backed up all my music on CD's. I ain't taking any more chances!

Does your daughter login with a different user name?

If she does then windows gives her access to only those files she is allowed to under her username. She wouldn't be able to see your files as she get a completely different 'Documents and Settings' folder.

You have used several pictures I took at the Love Shack. I have all of those originals. I also have a selection of pictures from there that were taken by others.

She logs in under my username. When I bought this laptop, she had her own laptop. So, I never set up a username for her. Now, I have another laptop she could use, but she has still been using mine. That will be changing, because she has been downloading more pics and things on my laptop even though I asked her not to.
