Earlier today, just after I arrived at M and the_mgp's house, M received a phone call from a very distressed mgp. We went and picked her up from work and found out that she had just received news that her father has liver cancer, they're pretty close and it just sucks.

I don't know what the prognosis is but regardless of the news I was hoping that all of her new online friends could dig deep and send my girl positive vibes and plenty of love.

I have only recently been through the same thing with my best mate and I know how hard it is going to be for her.

So please.... Bring the love.

The liver is pretty resilient, it can rejuvenate and endure a lot of damage. It's also the choice organ for transplants if you have to undergo one.

I wish your father all the luck he can get, and the strength to stay out of the hospital during treatment.

Very true. My father has been actively trying to destroy his for years and hasn't quite managed it yet.
