Bleah.
When I was on the fire department, we got a call for a drunk patient. We got there, and apparently, even though he was away from the Karaoke station, he was still singing... It was a Prince song, sang by a redneck.
He had a strong weapon. For several minutes I couldn't move myself, I was doing all I could trying to suppress my laughter.
As we were putting him in the ambulance, he began to sing, "I shot the Sheriff" in front of all the cops. Even the cops (which I have a dislike for) were trying hard to keep a straight face.
Needless to say, after the call was done, I giggled my ass off.

I was sorry to leave the thread so suddenly last night.
Of all ridiculous things, the power on our block went out.
For two damn hours. (We were asleep when it kicked back on - Bright lights all of a sudden!)
We have wireless internet but it wouldn't work without power, and there is no one else nearby to steal the signal.
So we went to bed.
(Which was pretty good, too.)
