Amazon Wish Lists

well to explain what they are.. .if you go to amazon.com and register on the site.. you can create lists of things you'd like to receive.. I have movies, books, gadgets, etc.. then for birthdays and holidays, when someone says, "what would you like" you can say, well look at my wish list for ideas.

So if I put on my wish list that I'd really like a relatively new Cirrus SR20 airplane that some wealthy subbie who's smitten by my charm and wit might up and buy one for me? Woo hoo! Hell, for that I'd even consider going easy on the first couple of spankings. :D

I do have some things I've wanted on there..and some of them are just to give people ideas. Sort of like one of those.. "if she'd like The Music Man, she might also like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"..

I like your taste. Every get to Oshkosh?

I dont know what's scarier... that Master's found someone to talk with about planes... or that you knew he meant the air show with him only saying Oshkosh....

You've clearly never been to Oshkosh. There just isn't much other reason to talk about Oshkosh. And besides, the context of airplanes had already been established.

When you're talking to a pilot or even just an aviation enthusiast in general and say Oshkosh, there's only one thing that enters their mind.

And like he said, there isn't exactly much of anything else up there ;)

Did Cirrus take over the designs for the old Grumman "cats"?

I think of the fly in but I also think of the heavy Oskosh trucks too.

Yep, similar configuration but the lines on the Cirrus' are a lot sleeker than the Tiger and the Cheetah. And we can't forget the nifty parachute option! :)

Exactly. I'm also a fan of the Eclipse personal jet, but that's even further out of my league.

FF, it's been a loooooonnng time since I've had to think about Oshkosh b'Gosh clothes. Never even entered my mind until you mentioned it here.

I hold a private pilots license but due to financial considerations I'm unfortunately not current.

I loved watching that thing fly last year, they managed to put on a pretty good show with it, I think it's suppose to be back this year as well.

I should have thought of b'Gosh, lord knows we heard the commercials enough growing up lol.

I'm around babies ALL the time!

I rather avoid planes. Once I thought they were fun adventures. Since 911, they've become a lot more difficult to look at as fun.

That's commercial air flight of course.
