I got to the prom just barely.
I had a "mono-like" thingie that made me almost too sick to go and back stabbing couple of gf's who tried hard to steal my potential dates. I made it though.
The prom seemed pretty boring to me though. My dress was the best part of it IMO. It was unusual and fun to pick out.
