Lit is not a place for courtesy, respect, or nice people

That title/statement really gripes me.

The only way I can make sure everyone reads this is by making a new thread, otherwise, a post would be totally ignored or missed. And I am not going to encourage the negative behavior of someone who is completely clueless by adding my post to his/her juvenile threads.

This is how nice and caring people can be. This is how they can feel for a total stranger.

How awful it is that anyone can be so offensive and mean to so many nice people. I'm sorry that your life must be this miserable.

It's easy to let these kinds of people get to you. ;-) But I wanted to remind everyone, especially lurkers, just how caring and nice people here are.

I'm just one person. I can dig up lots and lots of threads like mine, where people have come together to support a poster. (minx comes to mind, immediately.)

There are many nice people here and they need to be celebrated and thanked. To hell with the nastiness of people who are so unhappy in their lives. I have no time for that.

Life is too fucking short.

You are all good and caring people.

I can confide to Litsters and trust more Litsters with the secrets of my life than I can my own family or "real life" friends. Anyone who says this is not a place for nice people is ...... Well, I just feel sorry for that person.

And, to my friends here: I love y'all soooo much. You make me smile, and you make me feel like it's okay to be the kinkster I am.

Well I can tell you as well.. Ive met some of my greatest friends here on Lit.. People who accept me for me... As to this person who is harrassing everyone I was debating joining in and jumping her and someone very close to me said to let it be.. I adore her so much I did let it go..

I agree. I have met some of the most awesome people I know here. I know I've lurked much more than I've posted, but I've read nearly everything and I've learned a ton. Even when I've disagreed with someone or had them disagree with me, it was done in a polite, respectful manner from people who owe me neither. You guys are terrific.
