BlueSpoke (a moderator who used to be on this site in the Personals section, and maybe still is, for all I know) was one person that gained my trust when I first came to Lit around 6 years ago. I had a situation similar to today. He removed the people that tried to create problems for me. It's too bad that people like him are not around when you need them.
I have been called every name in the book before on this site, and people tried to do as they did today, except the last time, I just simply logged off, and did not return until not that long ago. I am certain that I will find some people to hang out with here who are not judgmental, who do not put down people different from themselves, and who believe that our differences of opinion make us better, not worse.
It absolutely slays me to see all of these people who think they are on some kind of Lifestyle Governing Board, who believe that what they say is the only opinion that holds validity. Then, if they are part of the select clique, everyone in that clique follows along like so many lemmings.
Obviously, Bi-bunny and others love that pack mentality. It is the same type of mentality that is kept by the inner circle of Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe. Crush dissent at all costs, and spare no effort to hold power, regardless of criticism. How do people actually enjoy putting down others? It is amazing to see all of these signatures, espousing all of the righteous quotes, yet the people who have them on their posting macro do not even practice what they preach.
It's too bad that the five children that I raised have all grown up and left the house, because I would use a lot of the posts made against me as an example of BAD NET ETIQUETTE. It is not always easy to simply walk away, when you have been put down and attacked by many people all of your life.
Yes, I was not smart in that regard. At the first hint of sarcasm and belligerence, I should have just headed on out the door and gone out to my garden. But, I let my emotions get the better of me. Another lesson learned, and catalogued.
I hope all of you who participated in the public burning at the stake of me one day get the same treatment, in a place where you have no friends. What comes around, goes around. Eventually, each of you must answer to a higher authority. You will lose a job for no apparent reason, have someone close to you get killed, any number of bad things. That's life. Imagine if one day, in another life, you learned that these things occurred because of your own actions?
The people that attacked me here today could not possibly be in the same Lifestyle that I am in. They belong to a cult of some type, or something else that is destructive, and almost evil. They are not people that I would want to meet at any of the events that I go to.
BUT, I will make certain that people that I know who are also in the Lifestyle are made aware of what an overall negative place this is. I am not returning to the BDSM Talk Forum. I have never felt so unwelcome and seriously threatened by so many people. I can't fight 30 people at the same time.
So, knock yourselves out. Tomorrow it will be someone else. Then someone else the following day, etc. If you are visiting for the first time to this forum, beware: You are better off not posting anything at all. There are people in the forum who will do nothing but make fun of you and harass you. If that is not your cup of tea, then I strongly advise not wasting any of your time here whatsoever. You will thank me for the advice later.
